The doctors at Hyde Eyecare are dedicated to preserving and enhancing vision throughout life. All of our doctors are certified and specialize in the treatment and management of eye diseases. Dr. Browning has been associated with Hyde Eyecare since 1991. Dr. Browning graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He received his medical degree from the University Of Tennessee College Of Medicine, Memphis in 1985. He completed his training in Ophthalmology in 1991.
Dr. Lowrance partners with Hyde EyeCare to provide ophthalmology care, including surgical care. Dr. Lowrance is an extremely dedicated and skilled eye care physician. He received his training at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miama, FL. He is a skilled eye surgeon, able to diagnose and treat various conditions and diseases.

I had a very pleasant experience. I didn’t have to wait long at all, pre-tests were quick and thorough. The assistants and Dr. Wazinsky were friendly and informative. It was just an all around caring and great appointment. The selection of glasses frames also were superb. The assistant there was also very attentive and caring. Great job Hyde Eye Care!

This is the best eye doctor I've been to. Been going there for year. The staff are friendly the doctors are too. Great sense of humor and if you have any issues at all they will check you out right there to see what's going on. I recommend this place to anyone especially if you have issues with glaucoma.

I don’t do reviews much but I felt that Hyde Eye Care let me down! I went to Hyde in February 2021 for treatment of glaucoma. I’m on disability so I have Medicare and I m on my wife’s insurance. Hyde neglected to bill Medicare but just billed my wife’s insurance. This left a balance that I didn’t have funds for. When my eye drops ran out of refills I could not get them until I saw the doctor and I couldn’t see the doctor until the balance was paid. I had called and talked to billing and explained that they had not billed Medicare. She said she would take care of it and get back to me

Felt rushed by doctor. Did not address my dry eye problem as was written down. I called back & was told doctor would call me back. Instead one of the techs(?) called back & told me to use OTC drops. I repeated as I told them earlier I had used them but was not getting better. She said just ask the pharmacist. I went here thinking I would get better service, but no one seems to care. Also I accidentally gave the checkout person the wrong credit card & when I asked her to void it she said she couldn't. Running a business I know better. I've been to many many eye doctors in my years, but Hyde Eyecare is by far the best. I've lived in NY, Miami, Miami Bch., Ft. Lauderdale, Kentucky, West Virginia, but they don't compare. The staff is incredibly helpful and the Drs. are very friendly and thorough. The atmosphere is inviting and peaceful. It almost feels like you're in a spa, waiting to be whisked away to tranquillity.
If you need to have anything done pertaining to your vision- look no further. This place is top of the line!!!!!!!!!

Everyone here is so friendly and sweet! The whole building is super spacious which comes in handy if you have kids with you like I did. They have a variety of frames like Ray Bans and Ann Taylor. It's so hard to choose which pair you want! If you're looking for a great optometrist, Hyde is where to go!

Got something in my eye on a Sunday AM and was blinded with great pain. Called Hyde EyeCare 24 hour emergency. Dr. Hyde called me back immediately. He met me at the office and did surgery on my eye to get a piece of metal out of my eye. He gave me antibiotic eye drops and saved me a trip to drug store. What good old fashioned customer service. He really cared! Follow up visit next day the pain was gone and my vision returned to 20/20.
