Dr. Fan Zhang is a graduate of the prestigious Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at the University of Southern California and has been providing top quality dental care in her Bellevue private practice for over 15 years. As a perfectionist, Dr. Zhang obsesses over the little details and believes that quality dentistry takes time and deep involvement by both the patient and the doctor.
For patients, their first visit is usually very surprising. Patients are delighted that they get to discuss their concerns directly with the doctor in as much detail as they wish and that they have the doctor's undivided attention. The doctor believes that quality care involves knowing the patient as a person first and will often times extend an appointment if the patient feels the need to discuss their concerns in more detail.

Most insurance plans are accepted by our office. Please check with your insurance to see if our office is In Network, or contact our office. As a new patient, it may be helpful for you to know that most insurance plans typically cover 100% of new patient dental exam, x-ray imaging, diagnosis and preventative cleaning (at least twice a year).

We and our daughters have been patients of Dr. Zhang for approximately 20 years. We have received excellent dental care.
My wife was recently fitted for a mouth guard. She was impressed by Dr. Zhang's follow-up. Dr. Zhang devoted considerable time to ensure the mouth guard would fit comfortably and would become a part of my wife's daily routine.
While her exams are very thorough, she is not quick to treat, rather, she takes a wait and see approach to make sure treatment or referral is necessary.

I hope that 0 star could be available. Please do not be tricked by those fake reviews. When you check the review, you check how many 'likes' for that review. Those 1 start review get most 'likes' and those fake 5 starts got none. Dr. Zhang is the worst dentist I have ever seen. She is rude, mean and unprofessional.

It was a satisfied experience to have an appointment with Dr. Zhang. One of my molar has experienced an extremely frustrated treatment and my previous doctor suggested me to remove that molar and have an implant. At that stage, my friend recommended me to Dr Zhang, then I decided to give it a shot. To my surprised, this time I am not disappointed. Dr. Zhang has solid skills and much experience than I expected. She is so nice and patient to help me check my that molar and later spent even half an hour to answer all my questions as provided more than 5 treatments! I was moving because she is a dentist

My husband chipped a tooth with an old filling and Dr. Zhang immediately agreed to see him without being a former patient. Over the next two months, she replaced with a temporary filling, then temporary crown and finally a permanent crown. She was extremely helpful and knowledgeable while making an effort to ensure we understood and were comfortable with the procedure and course of action. She did a fantastic job and made us feel at ease about the situation. I would recommend her and her work to anyone in need of dental care. She will now be our permanent dentist!

Dr. Zhang was awesome, had an emergency due to a piece of chicken bone from a chicken nugget stuck in my son’s gum! I called her she was about to close but she took his appointment, on Saturday, and last minute. She took him to the back at once and did a quick exam, and removed the piece of bone. This was our first visit, but she had made sure my son was ok, then the paperwork came after everything went well! I’m glad that she was able to do such an amazing job at the last minute, because this was a tiny piece of bone! Very amazing doctor, which I plan on making his dentist!

I am always dreaded to go to dentist, just like most if not all of us. Dr. Zhang surely made it easier by her friendly manner and more importantly her experience. My wisdom teeth have been giving me trouble for quite a while, but I have been reluctant to have them pulled out, afraid of the tearing pain that I imagined. Let me preface this by describing myself as a patient. As an adolescent, I seldom visited the dentist. I did not have the best dental hygiene, ate a lot of candy and acidic foods throughout the day, and never flossed (so much shame).
When I visited Dr. Zhang for the first time, I was very embarrassed with my (lack of) dental hygiene. However, she was very friendly and caring. As a grown man in my mid-20s, I asked Dr. Zhang for a complete tutorial on how to properly brush and floss. She took the time to give me a re-education, clearly and concisely!

Dr. Zhang is a very professional dentist with easy-going personality. I felt my teeth much healthier after Dr. Zhang cleaned them. She also gave me a lot of advices to further protect my teeth. My previous dentists all said I had very serious gum disease, especially at my age. But with Dr. Zhang's help, I am confident that I could do much better to fight it!

Dr. Zhang is fantastic at what she does. She is very thorough with the cleaning but she also makes sure that her patient is comfortable while having their teeth worked on by reminding them that if anything is hurting, just let her know and she will adjust. Everyone at the dentistry makes sure you are comfortable whether you are waiting in the lobby or being worked on. If I have any question or concerns I can always ask anyone there and they will answer to the best of their ability. I've only had positive experiences while being a patient here.

Dr. Zhang is the great dentist I've ever met. My previous dentist is really bad, after he did deep cleaning for me, it's useless, he did nothing and wasted my deep cleaning which is covered by my insurance. My father-in-law who was visiting from India had tooth pain yesterday. I luckily got an immediate appt. with Dr. Zhang. The receptionist was very polite and helpful in making the appt. and offering discount as my father-in-law did not have dental insurance. The doctor charged very reasonably and was a great listener.
