I started doing studio Pilates in my early 30's due to the development of constant lower back pain. I ignored the pain for about 3 years because I thought it would just go away. At the time I was a busy mom with 3 toddlers, working part-time with no time for myself. After my third child, I was suffering with severe foot pain and was diagnosed with plantar's fasciitis.
An exercise practice that can make a difference in your health without taking a toll on your body. Pilates will teach you how to use your tummy and the other muscles in your torso (like your back and butt) more effectively without straining other parts of your body. You'll develop more balanced muscles and improve flexibility too!.

The workouts are super challenging and leave you feeling very good. Each class is never the same and the instructors have different takes on how to work you out, but it's always fun and I love coming back for more!
