I agree with everyone's reviews of Dr Vercillo himself. He's amazing, gives great care and has a great bedside manner. If it were up to me, he'd have been the only Ortho I'd ever go to.
Sadly, I'm apparently never allowed back in the office due to their "office policy". I had an unpaid bill of just under $200 I wasn't aware of. Never received notices, never got a call and apparently was sent to collections (never got those notices either). I wish I could give ten stars!!!! I have been a patient of Dr. Vercillo for 7 years. From the first time meeting him I knew that I was in good hands. I had have a crazy 48 hours and I was so over seeing doctors. I had given up and was just done with the pain and what was going to have to happen. After that first appointment I knew that I was going to be well taken care of. Fast forward to 2021 with a pandemic still here. One week ago I had a partial knee replacement surgery. The next day I was walking and only used the walker in the hospital. My recovery beats all my expectations.
after a week I can walk perfectly and with only minor stiffness and much less pain than I had before the surgery. My son even commented that I got right up from my chair without hoisting myself up.
I have been seeing Dr Vercillo for a year or so with pain in my knee. The injections he gave me worked for awhile but I was never pressured to go ahead and fix my knee. The entire staff in his office and the surgical team and the nurses

Dr. Vercillo is not only an amazing physician but a remarkably compassionate man. Our father was a patient of Dr. Vercillo's and during the final days of his life, Dr. Vercillo paid a visit to give our father a cortisone injection. He and our father clearly had a close relationship and the doctor went far and beyond one would expect nowadays, especially during COVID.

I went to Dr. Vercillo for a torn meniscus. When I tore it the pain was crazy since it tore off and was stuck under my knee cap. His front desk girl Tina was so sympathetic and kind and got me right in for an appointment. They scheduled surgery right away and were seriously life savers getting me in to see the doctor, making sure I had meds and scheduling surgery quickly. Dr. Vercillo was amazing and I literally woke up from surgery with little to no pain. The office follow up has been fantastic too. I highly recommend calling for any knee issues!!

I went in for a second opinion with a previously diagnosed torn meniscus that I was told needed surgery. Glad I did because Dr. Vercillo drained my knee, told me I didn't need surgery and I walked out of there feeling so much better. Excellent bedside manner, he took the time to discuss everything in detail. I saw him for a quick follow up a couple of weeks later and they did it at no charge. Highly recommend Dr. Vercillo!!

Dr Vercillo came to my rescue after breaking my forearm/wrist. I regained full use of my hand within 5 weeks of placing a plate in my arm....Amazing work! He is also the kindest and gentlest of people to his patients, which makes one feel comfortable. His staff is great and kind as well. I will always go to Dr. Vercillo when I need his expert knowledge and skills again!

I value timeliness and efficiency a lot. This was great. I injured my shoulder in a fall and 3 months later it was still not healing. This was my first visit to Dr Vercillo on a PT referral.
As a new patient I needed to fill out paperwork so I arrived 20 minutes early. I was called in by the staff about 5 minutes before my scheduled appt.
Dr Vercillo came in within 5-7 minutes. He diagnosed a likely bruised rotator cuff. They took X-rays as a precaution against a break. Judy was very efficient. Done within 15 minutes. Dr offered a cortisone injection. Done in another 10 minutes. Rx for Physical

Dr. Vercillo corrected a rotator cuff, labrum tear, bicep tenodesis and performed complex knee surgery using a hamstring to help secure a kneecap and relocated the shin for further stability.
A minor complication occurred about a week after shoulder surgery at the incision site but it was remedied.
All surgeries healed well following Dr. Vercillo's recovery plan.
Gotta say, the billing department lags but we wouldn't want anyone else working on these joints. Dr. Vercillo is professional, thorough and incredibly skilled.

This a Doctor unlike any other. My first invasive surgery to rebuild my knee and he explained every option in a way that made me trust him 100%. Faith in your doctor before surgery is the best thing a patient can have i believe. With how he explains everything I had no concern going under with him being the one working on me(with wonderful specialists as well). He has an amazing team. No anxiety, minimal pain and was always there to answer my questions every week I would imagine if I called him that often. 10/10 he will be my go to guy forever now since im fairly active. The orthopedist that has been putting me back together for 8 years had to retire, so I was on the hunt for a new one and didn't have much time to do it since I had a shoulder that had to be put back together again before the end of the year. My physical therapist said he knew of an excellent guy and had recommended Dr. Vercillo. I figured I trust my PT so I said what the heck.
I had all of my reports from my PT and my previous surgeon sent over and my newest MRI. They squeezed me in even though he was totally booked I got put in as a final patient for the day, so for my evaluation appointment

Dr Vercillo presents himself in a professional manner but also I felt very comfortable talking with him about my pain and problem. I felt he wanted to learn as much as he could about my issues and then to inform me of the options of treatment he thought would be appropriate as a start for treatment. He worked with me rather than dictating to me what should be done. He was clear in describing my options. I do well with that approach. He finally did replace my knee and surgery went well.

Dr Vercillo has done successful surgery on both of my knees in the last 3 years. He is patient and takes the time to explain every option. Most impressive is that he never pushed me into any procedure. He explained the issues, the remedies and encouraged me to take the time to make my own decisions.
