Two weeks ago, as I limped into the hospital for a total knee replacement, I was filled with lots of mixed emotions. I was quickly made comfortable by a pleasant and efficient staff. Dr. Mack came in to greet me with a cheery, "Good Morning." What seemed like moments later, I woke in the recovery room with little discomfort and a brand new knee!
My wife and I cannot be more pleased with the entire knee replacement process and procedure. Dr. Mack and his excellent professional and knowledgeable staff kept us informed as to what to expect along each step of the way. The Pre-Op and Post-Op information provided was most helpful and assuring. Attention was paid to every detail of the process, all on an extremely personal and caring level.

Personally I think Dr. David Mack is a quack.
He took no more than 42 seconds with me, did no exam, asked no pertinent questions and just said that I need pain management.
He took NO time to find out anything, had no background or experience with me or what I thought about the pain and he states that he is an orthopedic doctor. I got to a point where I could not walk without assistance and am in agonizing pain, but he says that he cannot do anything.
I think that it was due to only having Medicare and no other insurance to bill and he saw no profit in it and said "see ya"

This was my first time to visit this Orthopedic group. Dr Brooks took care of me. He and all the office staff were thorough and took excellent care of me. I highly recommend Advanced Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine of Houston and thank them, especially Dr Brooks for the care and kindness.
Sincerely,
Mary Kinney

Thank you for encouraging me in the direction of waiting for a partial knee replacement. It’s not that painful, I just wanted to make sure I was staying in the “wisdom” of the right time to do it for my age. I hope I can make to that “80” time frame! Y’all are always willing to listen, and I greatly appreciate that. I’m looking forward to the phone call to come in for the hylaronic injection that will take me out another six months in the right direction. Thank you so much, it’s always a positive experience.

I had a total knee replacement on 8/24/21. I can’t tell you what a friendly professional officeDr Mack has. Everyone treated me as I had known them forever. From reception to vitals,X-rays,treatment follow ups they didn’t skip a beat. Today 3 1/2 weeks later I’m walking (Slowly) with out any assistance. I still need plenty of PT, to get back to full motion. I’m on the road to recovery. I plan on having Dr Mack do my other knee God willing in January. Highly recommend Dr Mack for any orthopedic needs.

I have had 3 visits to this facility. The office works well, check in via automation is flawless (for the most part) and the staff is attentive. All three visits Dr. Mack has not been on time. Yesterday I waited 1.15 hours past my appt time and another Dr. saw me. I never saw Mack.
I also am in a service industry and have appointments to keep and schedules to manage. When I don’t, I correct the issue and apologize to my client. Nothing done here for tardiness and absence, this issue needs to be corrected in the already bloated and unprofessional medical industry.
