I purchased a use pontoon from them and was treated fairly. I ended up with a quality boat for a reasonable price and the experience was professional. Bought used motor from the owner, he was very accommodating with my requests for compressions test and video of it running before it was pulled (I drove 2.5 hours from Chicago).I installed the motor and it purrs.

Little out of the way but great service and honest people. Went to look for parts for my boat and pat helped me. He was upfront about price and service. They sold me a prop for my older boat couldn't beat the price. Didnt have cash on me so they set it aside for me . I will definitely be doing more business with them in the future

We rented the home right next to Ox-Bo marine for a long weekend with our 4 kids. We rented two standup paddle boards for the whole weekend and the service was great. The boards were in perfect shape and the owners wife (Carla) gave great instructions to us and made sure our kids knew how to use them. The live music and tiki bar on the weekend was a fun surprise too!

Very unprofessional service. Boat was there for over a week when it was finally looked at. We were told what was wrong w it and that the part would be in with in 2-3 days. After the 4th day part was still not in which wasn't the problem...the problem was when I called for the update tel hey called me back each time after I left a message w the person at the desk w my name number and boat info. They said they would look up account and call us back in 5-10 minutes after 2 hrs I got a call back asking me for all my info I already provided and told they call back w the info. This happened 2 times.

Just checking older reviews on Yelp and I noticed that after I stated a factual situation that occurred in working with Oxbo, - there was an attempt from them to distort what happened on their response on Yelp. They never attempted to rectify anything - they took zero responsibility for the damage they caused and offered zero options to lower the bill to compensate for the damage. Other people we've discussed this in the Fox Lake area have told us that they have had similar poor experiences with this person at this company and have found other places to work with as a result.
