Lightning Wear Apparel was founded in 2006 by athletes who were looking for a new edge in the sports apparel industry. At the time we relied heavily on overseas manufacturing. A majority of our production and distribution evolved from partners that did not have a pulse on the North American sports apparel market.
We learned fast and faked it pretty well. LW and our sourced overseas manufacturers produced shirts and shorts stored in the owner's home USA based garage. We sold to local schools, stores and teams in the Washington, DC metro area. Lightning Wear distributed one style of custom lacrosse shorts, a performance t-shirt line and moisture wicking golf shirts.

Create your own color combinations in any style of Blank Mesh pinnies. Lightning Wear manufactures mesh reversible jerseys in several styles and pattern options. All of the products you see below are available in adult and youth sizes. Normal production time for blank reversible jerseys is ten days or less.

Our most popular style is the Mens Plain Pinnie. This is actually a unisex cut. We recommend adult sizes for high school and college females.

Hands down the only company I will use for jersey needs from here on out. After multiple local vendors dropped the ball for our team and never got back to us with even a mock up design, lighting wear not only helped us out but did so in a timely fashion and phenomenal customer service. I emailed them at 2AM Saturdsy morning and by 6am Saturday Dan had contacted me to start the process. They got our uniforms made and shipped to us in 2 weeks. Awesome! I would definitely consider ordering again. I ordered 19 shirts. Emailed customer service a couple of times and received a response almost instantly. At the last minute I added another shirt and they were able to add it on and ship everything out super quick. The shirts were for a group of 14-15 YO boys and coaches. Everyone loved them. Great quality. Quick turnaround. So glad I took the chance because now everyone was happy.
