Nice selection of clothing and pretty good hours. The owner was very accommodating and showed me a variety of options to help meet my needs.

I'm going to be honest, I have not personally shopped here. I live one street away and am frequently walking to the 711 for things like milk, so I pass by very often. The reason I'm leaving a review is simply because the owner of this store always goes out of her way to be so kind and friendly to me, even though I am not a customer of hers. Even when she's busy setting up for the day, she will stop what she's doing to come say hi to myself and my kid(s) and ask how we are. I have no doubt that her store is great because she is such a kind and thoughtful person.

I purchased several garments for a family member who wanted a Dashiki for his birthday. He's received so many compliments!! It looks like wearable art! This will be my new go to place for real African fabrics and clothes!!

This place has a variety of beautiful African attire for men, women and children. I visited a few African stores in DC and was very angry that they did not have any clothes especially for men.

I took the drive as a last resource and was very pleased upon walking through the door. The owner is very friendly, accommodating, and patient and understanding. Definitely recommended this store to several friends and went back several time.

Everything I needed was there and she had a wide variety of fabrics from all different price ranges. Also, the owner was very nice and was happy to answer any questions I had. I will definitely be going back.

I visited the store seeking African print fabric for a project. The store had bundles and bundles of affordable fabrics. It was actually overwhelming. The lady who helped me gave some great advice for the project. Would definitely go back.

So I found this place off of Yelp. I was in a bad need for some fabric for my kids performance. The original store I get my fabric from was closed. I needed some good quality stuff and I found it!

I was greeted by a woman by the name of Margaret Ade (everyone calls her Nana). Nana is a great help in getting you what you need! I got two different fabrics for my boys and girls who have a show next week. I also got an outfit for myself, which I needed for my own graduation with my bachelors degree!

I went to Per-Fit this morning on the hunt for high-quality African fabrics from across the continent. The block that the store is on is rather unassuming, but in the window of the store were a variety of full African outfits, both for men and women. When we walked in, we were greeted with a soft smile by the shop owner, a very friendly and knowledgeable lady who informed us (my mother, sister, and I) that she'd been at that location
