Services
We are an outpatient rehabilitation facility with three locations in Plymouth, and Pembroke, Massachusetts. We serve the entire South Shore area including Pembroke, Plymouth, Hanover, Marshfield, Kingston, Duxbury, Norwell, Hanson, Whitman, and the surrounding communities. Long Pond Physical Therapy has been owned and operated by Andrew Burke, MSPT and Brian Faghan, PTA since 2004.
Andy is a licensed physical therapist in the state of Massachusetts and a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). He graduated from Boston University in 2001 with a master's degree in physical therapy and has been practicing in Plymouth since 2002. He has many years of experience with all types of injuries and has worked with patients of all ages, but his special interests include shoulder injuries and joint replacements.
Following a comprehensive initial evaluation, a treatment plan will be individually designed and implemented for the patient using the latest therapeutic techniques and technology. At Long Pond Physical Therapy we feature equipment you will not find at every clinic, including adjustable high/low tables, mechanical cervical/lumbar traction tables, and rehabilitation specific medical exercise therapy equipment.
We like to think of wellness visits as a quick tune-up on the body or a single "feel good" session. It may be getting stretched out before a day of golf or tennis match, some moist heat on the back after shoveling a driveway, or a massage on the feet after running a 5k. Wellness sessions are in no way intended as a substitute for physician ordered physical therapy.
Rejuvenate your body, mind, and spirit with a relaxing and healing massage. A Massage can reverse the negative effects of stress, repair damaged muscle tissue, and remove pain throughout your body. I employ a range of massage techniques that improve circulation, detoxify your body, relieve tension, improve digestion, enhance muscle tone, and increase mental alertness.

I am not usually a fan of pt but the staff at this facility are absolutely amazing
I had the early morning appointments and actually looked forward to doing the work and I feel they taught me quite a bit along the way
Would recommend this clinic to anyone needing pt
The staff is knowledgeable and pleasant to work with from the front desk all the back

Clean, proficient, and easy. Well the PT isn't so easy! But what is one to expect from knee replacement surgery. Just two weeks in outpatient PT (6 weeks from surgery) and my progress, is measurable. The three Therapists on duty, work together in a cohesive fashion, and are very consistent with each other's style and anticipate each other's next step, with each patient . You're never without direction or assistance and assurance throughout the therapy session . Other patients are friendly and talkative, it's a nice break from the over crowded PT, I've gone through
