The Lunch Lounge

We landed in PHX & had a 9hr layover so I decided we needed to get out of the airport for a wee bit..
We layover fairly frequently in PHX esp to visit my mother in law.. I found out the Rail takes you to the 44th Station for free 🤯. My mother in law who lives in Yuma & flys thru PHX more than we do didn't know that either lol.
So I found a couple highly rated restaurants near the 44th Station to eat & wifi connect so we could work & internet surf while we waited for our next flight.
It was really nice out so we just walked from the station & dragged our little rolling luggage with us.

I LOVE the sandwiches! The food is really good. I was picking up my order and I heard a customer being rude to the workers about how it took 15 minutes to make their food, I hope everyone realizes that other people exist and also order food too. It takes time to make great sandwiches.

Okay I have to start off by saying I don't like deli restaurants that are located in the same places as corporate businesses. The food hasn't been good and I'm usually just desperate to not reach a state of hangry. I also need time to relax and it doesn't feel relaxing being that close to Corporate. That is my only beef with this place. I was heading to the airport and stopped here which is what I like about this place....location. I needed real food not airport hurt your stomach junk. The sandwiches are amazing. Good thick fresh bread, happy fixings for meat and non meat eaters

I love this place. The Albuquerque Turkey has quickly become a favorite but I'm going to try ALL of the things! The turnaround is quick so I can order online and take a 10 minute break to go get it and it's always been ready for me. These are pleasant and hard working people, which should always be rewarded!!

Ordered a grilled cheese which I hadn't made myself or ate in years. It was delicious & a nice size. I added tomatoes. Next time will add Avocado & onions. Def recommend & will come back again when I'm in AZ 😊

I love eating breakfast here! I am a recurring customer, and the lunch lounge never disappoints. I ordered the Big Toasty, substituted for egg whites and added avocado. I usually get it on a jalapeño bagel, but this time I had it on a plain bagel. It was delicious as always. The bagels are always perfectly toasty on the outside and chewy on the inside.
To top it off I ordered a large iced caramel macchiato. It was so good. I could taste the espresso and caramel. It was not overly sweet. I recommend their Medicine Ball tea as well. It is so delicious and soothing for the throat and nose.

Glad I came by to try! Delicious sandwiches, I ordered the Albuquerque Turkey Panini, yum!
Their iced coffee is full of flavor (I drink mine black). The employees working were friendly. Definitely recommend!

Excellent sandwiches.. tasty sauces, nice amount of meat on it, hot and very tasty. Friendly staff. Nice clean store.

My girlfriend and I had a couple hours layover and needed a quick bite to eat and the google reviews on this place didn’t disappoint. Bacon breakfast burrito > bacon panini.

Honestly a perfect grab and go or sit down breakfast, brunch, or lunch establishment. Food is prepared with care and respect for quality ingredients at good prices. If you are near by 100% give them a visit

Found this wonderful lunch spot on Yelp and was incredibly impressed. One of the best pastrami sandwiches I've had in some time, while my colleague enjoyed the Italian Lover sandwich. Great food, great vibe, and the gentleman working the counter and making the food was incredibly welcoming and a pleasure to chat with. Definitely a hidden gem that is worth checking out when you want a solid lunch.

I am staying in the hotel next door and if I new this place was so delicious I would have come by sooner. Eddie is the owner and makes delicious Boarshead sandwiches. I had sourdough BLT and my son the Southwest Chipotle Chicken Panini. Both were made with fresh items and amazing. It is served with creamy potato salad. I ordered the Medicine Ball tea (similar to Starbucks) but better. I will be back to try breakfast in the morning and Medicine Ball Tea. I'm not sick but I love the flavor of this tea. I never saw myself ordering a peanut butter and jelly sandwich at age 26 from a cafe...but here I am! I have celiac disease and their gluten free bread is awesome! Their employees are really sweet too, they took the time over the phone (I ordered through postmates) to make sure I was at ease eating there with my allergies and were safe in preparing the food. Thank you!

A tiny place with a limited menu, but the Pastrami was great, on a terrific marble rye bread, coleslaw and Russian dressing. I would highly recommend this place fir a quick lunch. Staff all wore masks.

This place is right near where I work but wasn't sure about trying it, but had heard good things about it from my co-workers so decided to give it a try when I forgot to bring my lunch one day.

MAN I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT I WAS MISSING. The tuna-melt is my new go-to when I "forget" my lunch at home (don't tell the wife but I might not always forget)

I now just call ahead and walk over and pay and it's ready to go, al in about 15 minutes from the time I order to walking over to them.

Great selection of breakfast and lunch options on the menu! I couldn't resist getting a BLT since the aroma of bacon smacks you in the face as soon as you open the door. Definitely not disappointed in my selection. The bacon is clearly high quality and the perfect level of chewy. The sourdough was lightly toasted, the tomato was sliced thin, the lettuce was shredded and cold and clung satisfyingly to just the right amount of mayo. Delicious. I'll be back to try other options on the menu!

The 'ONLY place to eat lunch in 85008! Breakfast, lunch, snack, or afternoon tea. Delicioso. You can even get a customized PB&J - just ask! The salads are H-U-G-E and enough for lunch AND dinner.

Even the more coffee deserves your attention. Packs a punch and prepares you for whatever the morning holds. Or perhaps and afternoon frapp to help you cool off? A Hidden Gem.

Today, we went to the Lunch Lounge for a quick bite to eat, and it was absolutely delicious. I've had many sandwiches from all over the valley and the folks at Lunch Lounge are doing up sandwichs right.

We really enjoyed our first visit to Lunch Lounge. The menu has plenty of options, fillled with high quality meats, for the meat-eaters and a large selection of vegetarian & vegan options, if meat isn't your thing

When it comes to sandwiches, you really can't go wrong with ordering the Lunch Lounge's "Grilled Stromboli Sub". There's something

Quality option next to the Hampton Inn. We stopped in around 11am to grab a lunch to take to the airport before our flight home. The staff was very friendly and instantly greeted us when we walked in and there wasn't a line. We were unfortunately told that there would be a 20min wait for anything with chicken.

I ordered the King of Clubs Sandwich and made it a meal with chips and a drink. The sandwich was ready in less than 5 minutes and I was out the door.

The sandwich was large but I was surprised that the bread wasn't toasted. I guess I assumed clubs were always on toasted bread

This is a one-of-a-kind place that's out of the way but then again it's hitting gym right here on 44th to South Van Buren got to come and check out their breakfast specials lunch specials.

They close early so you got to get there real early they have eclectic menu with a lot of things on it and even if you suggest some things they'll make it directly for you without charge you an arm and a leg everything here is good.
