Nice little family owned Italian deli that's pretty similar to one you'd find on the east cost. Good food and excellent selection of ingredients for your kitchen.

The way delis used to be and still ought to be. Tony's is crammed with a large and tempting selection of comestibles: meats, cheeses, pastas, oils, sauces, etc.. And sandwiches, great sandwiches. Meatballs to die for, homemade sausage, and more. You might wait a bit but you won't regret it.

Noticed Tonys deli when I was driving and had to stop. Decided to get the Italian sandwich for myself and the meatball sub for my fiancé. Both were delicious! Owner is friendly and the store is cute and loaded with lots of Italian goodies, and he uses an old school cash register, it's awesome. I didn't have much time but can't wait to go back and try the homemade sausages and shop for some authentic Italian groceries.

Came here for the first time and I was not disappointed. The prices are very responsible but the food doesn't taste packaged or stale. Definitely try the Pastrami!

Walked in today for lunch and was greeted by the owner immediately. Said I wanted a large Italian sandwich special and was told he will make it fresh and feel free to look around the store. Shelves full of imported noodles and sauces things I’ve never seen anywhere else in town. Owner said your sandwich was ready. $8 for a fully loaded Italian sandwich made the right way with really fresh meats and cheese. It was delicious ! When you step in, the deli immediately makes you feel as if you stepped into a simpler time and it’s something I can appreciate. I will definitely stop by next time I’m

I love a good Italian deli. Tony's has everything under the sun and all things Italian from figs to pizza dough. The dough is by far the best I found in the Sunnyslope area. Antipasto salads are excellent. Sandwiches are loaded with deli meats and cheeses.

I only wish they had a patio so you could dine there!

The family is SO nice. They opened the doors back up one day when they were closing for me to shop! Thank you!

It's the most authentic Italian delicatessen I've been in quite a while the owner and his wife are the nicest people I've ever met. The variety of product they have for sale on the shelves is beyond measure and the majority is imported either from New York via Italy or directly from Italy. If you have a chance to stop by I would highly recommend it not only just to pick up a good sandwich or a slice but to have experience like none other

So glad we found this little deli. It's the perfect Mom & Pop place. The owners are the sweetest people. The store is packed full Italian specialty items. The sub sandwhiches are the bomb. So much meat on them. They offer home made pizza dough, pasta, desserts, sausages, sauces, deli meat and fresh bread. Also premade meatballs and lots of pasta dishes that are frozen and ready to heat up and eat. I love this place and can't wait to go back.

What a hidden gem! We have lived in this area for awhile and always talked about trying this place. We finally got around to it and were we ever glad we did! I'm just sad it took us this long to discover it! The sandwiches were divine! We also got a antipasto salad that was very good! We shall return! If you haven't gone here please do, you won't be disappointed!!

I love this place. It feels like family and you're treated like family. The food is so yummy...like Grandma use to make, actually the families grandma recipes are used.
Best prices too.
The market is jam packed with delicious treasures.

Tony's has some very authentic Italian products at very good prices. We had a hero sandwich which was very good but the bread is not a crispy Italian loaf. their cold cuts are also very good. Would give them 5 stars but the fresh Mozzarella was not very fresh.
The staff is pleasant and happy to have you visit.

Get a load of this sandwich! Behold its magnificence. My guy wanted to stop here for pizza toppings because we like to make our own pizza. We heard their sausage was outstanding and all house made. What a discovery! It is a great Italian market with all kinds of great pastas, sauces, desserts and fresh made sandwiches. The place is chock full of stuff and it's kind of hard to focus because there is sooo much, but that's perfectly okay because the goods are authentic. Although we came for sausage for our pizza, we left with an amazing sandwich for lunch, a bunch of cold cuts and some imported

This place reminds me of a typical east coast food store and delicatessen. I can tell you if you want a basic Italian staple that you can't find anywhere else you can find it at Tony's. The staff is super nice. Four stars and not five because it is extremely packed in there. There's really nothing they can do except expand. I would recommend ordering their Italian hero but the best way to do it is to order by phone in advance and come in and pick it up. There is a small amount of outdoor seating so that you can enjoy your sandwich but we wound up taking ours home.

Step back in time & enjoy the awesome sandwiches! They r huge rolls piled high with your choice of meats & cheeses. We had the corned beef & italian special - both were crazy good & the prices were great too!
Store is old school..very small & tight..packed with pasta, sauces, etc.
We also picked up some fresh hot italian sausage for the grill.
Friendly staff - they have been there 50 yrs & we hope they stick around another 50.

Best Deli in Phoenix! I was in San Fran in March and had an amazing authentic mortadella sub. So good. Craving that in phx I started my search and realized Toni's was 2 miles away and I had never stopped by.
Ordered the Italian Special large and so glad I did. That happy happy taste in my mouth brought foodie joy! The large was so large I cut into 3rds and it took me 3 days to eat it. Self- control people!
They have rows of goods right from Italy and a fresh made bulk pasta section and fresh made desserts. Worth a stop if you haven't tried it yet.

Tony's Italian Delicatessen is a little mom-and-pop store on the corner of a very crazy intersection. While working at the nearby hospital, a co-worker suggested a lunch stop here.

It's difficult to get to, and the parking lot is small and cramped. But it's worth it. Tony's has been here for 52 or 53 years. The couple that own it are very cute and personable. The minute I walked in, they were ready to help me. There was a large old fashioned menu board, which showcased their deli sandwiches and other fare, which included some hot deli and pasta items, meats and cheeses, and

Every once in a while I truly stumble upon a diamond in the rough - Tony's is that.

First, I just wanted lunch. I walked in, mulled over the menu, wanting to try everything, then ordered a meatball sub, and then I waited while they made my sandwich to order. While I waited I sauntered down the skinny aisles packed head to heel with imported Italian goods - canned vegetables, dried pasta, olive oils, balsalmic vinegars, wines, beverages, pastries, gelatos, dried herbs, and canned fish. There was even fresh rolls and tins of honeycomb.

Then the meatball sub came out, and I sat on the patio

Amazing little deli. You can get almost everything italian here from cold cuts to sandwiches to desserts. Lots of grocery items from Italy too. Prices? Super reasonable !!
I had the Italian special with an amazing array of meats including Prosciutto. I wish it had more vinegar since I wanted oil and vinegar instead of mayo or mustard. Oil and vegan is classic to an Italian combo. Wish the bread was crustier too but hey with their pricing I shouldn't be asking for anything more. I should just zip it up!
I had the last piece of Tiramisu and it was super yummy. Tasted fresh even though

Have not been to Tony's Itallian Delicatessen for many years. Only thing I remember was a great sandwich and the owner who I could barely see over the high counter top.

Walked in and didn't see anyone. Then I heard someone say "can I help you?" I smiled and it was great to see her and her son.

Ordered the Itallian Special, an Itallian Hero, and Roast Beef and Cheese. Could not pass up the fresh pasta salad and the cannolies. The sandwich I had was as good as I remember. Prices are reasonable and there are many other food choices and groceries. A taste of Little Italy on

Amazing find! I didn't realize places like this even existed in Phoenix! Super authentic old school Italian market and deli with great ready made entrees, sandwiches and everything you need to make pretty much any classic Italian dish you can name. The place is run by an adorable old couple and their family, the prices are great (especially when you consider that most of their inventory is imported) and the food is amazing! Definitely my new favorite local business.
