THE WIFE AND LOVE IT THERE, KIND, FRIENDLY, AND LOTS OF FUN. THIS IS OUR VACATION SPOT. I cannot say enough about Mark and his wife and the overall experience and staff. We leave today after 10 days and are sad to go. The rooms are spotless the service is above and beyond. I have been coming up to Laconia since I was a kid and wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Was here on vacation with mine and my fiance's family. This place is older, but extremely well kept. Grounds are looked after, pool is smaller but very clean. The best part was the service we received our entire stay! We had 5 cottages all together, all very clean at check-in, and Mark and his wife, Keyur, helped with any request or question we had! If you are looking for a camping atmosphere, but with some comforts of home, this is the place! Truly a gem! Price very reasonable! They run this property almost by themselves and it looks like a full staff is here daily! Thank you Mark and Keyur for

I have stayed at 1848 Inn for many years. Way over 25 years. In April of 2020 I called to reserve a week in August. Unfortunately in May my Husband passed away. I called right away to tell Mark. One I had to wait almost 2 weeks to get a call back. But when he asked me To send a check I did. This was a death. I realize they have a Policy. They still charged me a $50.00 cancellation fee. I think this is wrong. They lost a good customer. I will never stay there again. I already told a lot of people. So think twice before you stay here .
