Honest-1 provided great customer service. I had a emergency repair needed while moving back to Minneapolis. My car was full of all my possessions so I didn't want it outside for long waiting for service. They got me in quickly and repaired everything in one day so my things were safe! And my car was fixed. Thanks so much!

Brought my vehicle in because the check engine light was on and the heat was not working. They charged me $250 to back flush the heater core and they also drained my cooling system, even though I had told them a week earlier my water pump had went out and they replaced all of my radiator fluid. When I got the vehicle back the check engine light was still on and the heater still did not work. Their response was the check engine light has nothing to do with what we were doing and you need a new heater core.

I had Honest-1 Auto Care on Lyndale look at a car because I was unsure about one that I had recently bought. It had a return policy and the guys did the inspection for $50 something. They not only looked at something about the tires but they also noted some really important information like signs of flood damage. I ended up returning the car and will definitely be back to have them look at another purchase I make. 1 star off because they really didn't have the time to do the service I had set up for until the next day but I'm glad I stuck it out and had them look at it. Honest -1 Auto Center does a great job. They are honest and you can trust what they say. They have fixed my sons care now twice and its been cost effective and the job as been done quickly so you can have your vehicle back. Mark is the one I always deal with and he's amazing. I RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE WHO IS LOOKING FOR A GOOD AUTO CARE PLACE.

I really don’t want this to be a negative review however I spent way too much for the services I received, I had to get my brake light fixed and then they charged me 87 for that and a brake inspection. Then come to find out I needed new brakes and rotors which okay fine that’s fine whatever. But I brought my car in at my appointment at noon and it took them four hours just to work on it, I had a lot of things to do and work so I wasted an entire day when I thought it’d only be half a day, I think they’re very overpriced and misleading but at least my car is fixed. Maybe just ask questions

I had been going here for years and always got good service. Today however I went in for a simple oil change and they messed around with my tire pressure sensor. After doing this they recommended I get the tire pressure sensor fixed. I declined. Once I got back in my car that's when I realized they had actually broken it. It had been working before I brought it in. I have a front tire that leaks air sometimes so I depend on that sensor. I don't have enough money to get tire replaced at the moment. I called them to talk about this and they denied they had anything to do with it

Please trust the reviews that people leave for this place! I didn't and I got ripped off. I brought in my car because the ac wasn't working. They looked at it for 25 minutes and charged me 137 dollars for this quick check. They then quoted me over 1000 for the fix. This sounded a little too high so I sent the diagnostic to another shop. They quoted me 130 dollars. Cheaper than honest auto charged me for just the diagnostic. Please don't spend your hard earned money on a place that is so happy to rip you off! There are local shops that are far more "honest."

Developed an alternator problem on the highway while driving to Minneapolis. My daughter found this business and spoke to Andrew, who was very helpful, on the phone. We drove right there and they were able to fix our car the same afternoon. Everyone was very attentive and professional. Highly recommend!

They took my car in when I had mistakenly made my appointment for another Honest1 location, got to it that day she called within a couple hours to let me know the diagnosis. They explained everything that was wrong then got started fixing it right away. My car was there for less than a day and they replaced the front brakes, and rear wheel bearings. They were fast, very friendly and informative! They also made using the coupons that are online super easy, no hassle. Definitely recommend.

"Honest"-1 Auto Care told me they had to do a $175 diagnostic to fix the problem.
I declined and took it to Luther Kia. In less then 1 hour they diagnosed they problem and got the repair authorized from the extended service company.
In addition, "Honest" 1 Auto spilled some crap on my hood and charged me for their incorrect diagnostic .
Shame on them!!!!!!

I keep coming back with more work. All of the work has been done well. No returns for any issues. I have to say I am happy with the customer service, I don't ever feel pressured for more work to be ordered, and the prices are competitive for an urban garage. I have now returned 4 times I think to have more work done on my old vehicle....no issues. I will continue to bring my vehicle in and feel comfortable with the recommendations. When my rear drive shaft failed, I even used a loaner for a week. I have zero reservations recommending this garage.

Outstanding, by far exceeded my expectations. I just got my vehicle towed to the nearest shop from where I broke down and even on the way there, the tow truck man said he's been at his job for 21 years and assured me this was one of the best places to bring a vehicle to. I didn't even have time to call ahead before being towed there and they still got me in for a diagnosis and my problems fixed the same day. I was expecting them to be at least a week or 2 out like my regular mechanic's shop. Definitely considering making this my new main place to go. Extremely friendly and professional

I felt it absolutely necessary to write a review to WARN folks NOT to do business here! My car had to be serviced 4 times in one month! Every week I'd have to take it back in for another problem that wasn't there before it was serviced!!!! They were NOT cooperative! My company stopped servicing their vans there too for similar reasons! They misdiagnosed my car problems, charging me for parts and labor that was not necessary only to have to bring me back in for another 500.00 of work!!!! Reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. I don't want anyone else to get screwed.

I've been coming to Honest-1 Auto on Lyndale since I moved to Minneapolis 3 years ago. Mark and the team are always so nice, helpful and honest about what needs to be done on my car. It's super convenient to drop off and pick up later and the service is always really speedy! Appreciate this shop - it's hard to find an auto shop you can trust that won't try to fix everything to make money. Also there are always great coupons running! Thanks Honest!

My girlfriend brought in her car to Honest One on 2217 Lyndale Ave S. who has always been helpful in the past and if I can post pictures here they ruined the back seat leather by leaving a tool and opening the 60/40 split seats. It would had been better if they left a lit cigarette in the car. Also, Mark offered to clean it but that's not the issue. They caused roughly about 1000 dollars in damage to her back seat. I've been bringing my vehicles to Honest-1 in Uptown for about 6 years. I love that I can drop off my car and walk to a coffee shop, nail salon, or a clothing store while I wait for my car to be serviced. They are always friendly and have never once tried to push extra services on me. They provide exceptional service and always send coupons.

I live right in uptown and was nervous about finding a new place to fix my car. This place is small but a good place. The people here seems to be honest and very nice. My car was way overdue for a check up and they did that plus were honest about doing the work.
To bad I don't live in Uptown anymore or I would return to get service from them.

I've been to honest-1 uptown twice now and had excellent service both times. The first time because my check engine light was on. They fixed it in five min and charged me nothing. I usually hate taking my car in, so I thought this experience was too good to be true. The second time was for a routine oil change. They helped me immediately and got it done in 30 min.

I went to Honest-1 because i got a mailer and their location was close to my home. I initally had an oil change done and the entire crew was great, extremely helpful, knowledgable, and never once condesending, which can be a big issue when I start ask specific questions, but these folks answered everyone and even helped me come up with a plan for my long list of car to-dos.
I went back a few months later to get a tune-up before a long road trip, again the team was great and really took care of my car. They also went over the work that had been completed and what care was coming up in the future

Do not normally give reviews but thought this was worth it.
Went in last week for a routine oil change. Andrew, the manager that helped me out encouraged me to visit the dealer ASAP because I needed a new transmission, and that if I did it quickly it would be covered in my warranty ( I was a few thousand miles away from my warranty expiring)
Sure enough I needed a new transmission, and was able to avoid having to pay for it out of pocket.
