I was having battery issues and went to these guys to have it checked out. Turns out nothing was wrong, but instead of lying and telling me it could be any array of things, they were honest and didn’t try to rip me off. Even better they didn’t charge me any inspection fee. I highly recommend these guys as trustworthy mechanics. 5/5.

Took a while to get ahold of them but they were straight up and to the point about my repair, left me with some info about what my car might need done eventually, and what they were able to do with her while they had it. I was frustrated with not being able to get ahold of them previously but they were kind and friendly. Parking is pretty tight but they were off a bus line which made it easy to get home without a ride and they parked my car somewhere easy to access the street with for me when I came to get it. Overall I was satisfied with the price and care that my car was given.

He tried to add on all these extra costs. And when we first discussed the cost I only needed my brakes and rotors replaced which ended up only being one tire, he then tried to rack up the cost on extra things like air filters, shop supplies and more strange things. When first I walked in he said he would keep in mind that I'm a teacher on a budget and after that then he tried to add all these extra things that were not necessary or discussed. Doug seemed trustworthy when I walked in and was extremely disappointed with how he tried to add things onto my bill that were not necessary and I did

I really want to thank Doug, Nick and the guys at Green Garage for coming to my rescue again. This was not the first time this summer I needed my car towed to the shop. I'm sure they are tired of seeing me car . But no matter what they always make the time to fix it as quickly and affordable as they can. My car was having issues with the brakes and was making a terrible noise whenever I was driving. I put in preferred times to drop off my car late last night and was called right away this morning to drop my car off. Got a call a few hours later with the issue and quote and before 3:00 was driving home with no issues. Extremely fast turn around, incredible service. Very happy with my experience.

Initially I had taken my car to Turbo Tim's, and they told me I needed new brakes, a belt, and a water pump, and wouldn't give me an estimate of when the work would be done, except that I wouldn't get it back before Monday (I brought it in Thursday morning). I thought the estimate was high so I called around - Mike at Green Garage gave me a lower estimate and without me even asking he told me if I brought it in before the end of the day he'd have it back to me the following day. I brought it in and the next day he told me that he'd be happy to take my money, but my brakes

Shopped Around for brakes locally, called three shops, they could take me that day and we're highly competitive in pricing. Everything works, am back on the road. Also be very clear what you need done with all things. Be aware, parking is a hot mess, so call ahead for an appointment. Will be back again

I’ve come to this garage for years and cannot imagine going to a different garage! They are so wonderful and accommodating. Any little problem I notice, they’re more than happy to see me and explain everything in detail to me. It’s comforting to know that I can count on a garage to be completely above board, honest, and not take advantage of me because I’m ignorant of cars. I’m moving soon and will happily drive across town to have them service my car. Seriously, take your car to them. You won’t be disappointed! And a big THANK YOU!!!

I've used many garages in the Twin Cities, and must say that I have been favorably impressed by several, but Green Garage consistently stands out from the crowd. At this point, they're the only mechanics I go to. They do quality work, are up-front about pricing and have never tried to "up-sell" me on anything, and generally get things done with a very quick turnaround. But perhaps what I've appreciated the most is the quality of communication. They're very good at making sure that customers understand what's going on with their vehicle, and keeping them informed as repairs progress. Highly recommended

These guys care about cars and the people who own them. They gave me honest information about what did and did not need to be fixed and are truly delightful to work with. My battery died during the cold spell, I got it jumped by AAA, called to see if they could help me out and they not only took care of it immediately, they did a thorough job of cleaning off all the corrosion and topped off fluids and checked tires. Why on earth would I go anywhere else!

Nick, the owner, contacted me shortly after my previous review (still included below), took full responsibility for the mistake, and refunded me in full for the battery and second alternator (at cost to them, if my math is right, as I still have the new battery installed). Seems like this was indeed a one-off experience and I am very impressed by Nick's integrity and ownership of the mistake. As I said below, I will definitely be back here next time I need a repair (which with how old my car is, is unfortunately often).

I have no knowledge about cars and was very nervous about being taken advantage of. The mechanics at Green Garage were extremely friendly and kind. Turns out my car had a relatively quick-fix issue. I took it in without an appointment, the mechanics took 45 minutes to fix it up and then didn't charge me anything for their service. Highly recommend Green Garage! Very friendly, excellent customer service, and a comfortable waiting room!

I brought my Subaru CrossTrek to Green Garage after getting a timely and fair estimate from their team. I brought my car in for normal scheduled maintenance because the dealership vastly overcharges and seems to blindly replace things even when it's not needed.
I chatted with Caleb at Green Garage and he was always timely in his responses and easy to chat with. I asked that his team inspect the prescribed maintenance before fixing/replacing anything. His team was honest in their inspection and it helped me avoid hundreds in unneeded maintenance!

Customer service was awesome my 1st day I got good estimates on the service jobs but after that my car came back with a serious transmission leak havent driven it since I got it back a over a week ago the the leak that was supposed to be fixed was way worse tranny shift horrible now I called and can't even get in for them to fix the PROBLEMs they caused i should have been a top priority best part about this place was the guy I dealt with at the desk the 1st person I met he was AWESOME !I WONT EVER GO BACK THOUGH!!!!

My husband recommended Frenz to me when we first started dating, because I needed an oil change. He said then and still says now that they are the most honest mechanics in the business, and I couldn't agree with him more.
Speaking only from my own experience with them, they are awesome. They give honest advice geared toward a customer's needs, not their own profit.
