In August of 2021, I visited on of their doctors for an annual pap and was charged a $70 copay for the lab portion of the exam. Since this was preventative, I inquired about this copay with my insurance, Independence Blue Cross (IBC/IBX), LabCorp and the doctors office. The doctors office insisted that their billing was correct. Long story short, two representatives from IBX and a medical coder informed me that the doctors office submitted the incorrect modifier while submitting the code to LabCorp. I contacted the doctor’s office about this and have gotten radio silence. This is a disgrace and

In August, I had an annual OBGYN appointment with Dr. Bridgens, who was phenomenal and very kind. It was an annual wellness exam that is considered preventative care and I have health insurance that would cover it. I received a $70.00 invoice from LabCorp that claimed I got a pathology test that day. I contacted Dr. Bridgens about it and she informed me that I am entitled to an annual exam and it shouldn’t cost me anything. I have not heard from anyone at Maximum Wellness for weeks after numerous attempts to try to resolve this. LabCorp is standing by their bill until someone from Maximum Wellness

I can’t believe it took me this long to find this amazing place!
