We feature some of LA's best tattoo artists, our focus is in traditional style tattoos, but we are skilled in a broad variety of styles. We excel at taking your ideas and turning them into a spectacular custom tattoo, designed to last.
Our studio space is clean and comfortable, a mix of a gallery space and a traditional tattoo shop. And of course, we adhere to the strictest standards of safety and sterile procedures, making sure your experience is both fun and safe. We accommodate most walk-ins, but also schedule appointments for larger tattoos.

Cleanest shop I've ever been to! My best friend and I did a walk-in to get some matching koi fish tattoos, and they drew us up exactly what we wanted with some slight alterations. We got exactly what we envisioned and they turned out so sick, Reuben and Josh did a fantastic job and had us in and out pretty quickly. Price was a lil steep for what we got, but since we wanted that fine line look we just ate the cost. Definitely worth it, love the location and vibe too.

I got my first tattoo here yesterday, to honor my dad. Josh was my artist, as he came highly recommended from a friend. Josh was simply the best. He stayed in contact with me before the appointment and was ready with design suggestions when I showed up. The shop is immaculate and they are following all covid protocols. Josh took his time, made sure I felt comfortable, and after all that, only charged me the shop minimum ($100). If I ever wanted more tattoos I would not hesitate to go back, and I would gladly send any friends or family to him and the shop.

3rd Update: I didnt know that it was hard to book an appointment for a tattoo session.
Ive messaged them last Monday 10/12. They responded back asking who's artist I prefer to work with. I told them it was Graham.
I messaged Graham, provided all the info he needed - a sketch of the tattoo, dimensions and what not. This way, its easier for him to move forward with the session.
I haven't received any updates from him nor the shop as of writing.
This shouldn't be that hard to do.

Alchemy Tattoo is a top class shop that provides high quality work. All of the artists that work here are very nice. I have gotten 7 pieces of work done by Graham Harrington at Alchemy and he is the most genuine and respectful artist i have met. He does phenomenal work and I will recommend him to anyone looking for traditional style work.

I got my first tattoo here! I was very hesitant on size and placement because I'm a model and I have to be able to cover it up! Luckily I haven't had to because it was strategically placed! I can't remember who did my tattoo unfortunately but he did an amazing job and made it close to painless. Couldn't ask for a better experience!

I want to take a moment to thank everyone at Alchemy for being supportive and wonderful making my first tattoo experience very memorable. Mom was patient in explaining all my questions and gave her expert opinion, which I'm glad I took. Brooke gave me my tattoo and I'm definitely going back to her! She is fun, considerate and very capable.

Extremely friendly, personable and willing to work with you to design a perfect tattoo that you had in mind and one that will look great for the location you're seeking. Rob did my tattoo and I already want to go back for more! Rhianna did my friends tattoo and she did an amazing job as well. Super stoked! Definitely recommend! You will not be disappointed :)

My BFF and I met in LA on short notice and decided to get our matching tattoos that we'd been contemplating for years. We called alchemy because of all of the great yelp ratings and they said they take walk-ins on a first come first serve basis. We stopped in, talked with the receptionist and had a quote within 15 minutes.
Within 30 mins I was on the table getting tattooed by Bruno. We were both in and out in under 2 hours, and although we paid a bit more than we thought it would cost, it was totally worth every penny! Bruno is an awesome artist and made adjustments to each of our designs

Fantastic place. Perfect tattoo, exactly how I wanted it with lovely staff.
I wanted the same tattoo as my partner in the same spot. We had to try to apply the stencil 3 times before we got it right which was not a problem for the artist! She took her time and it paid off. My favourite tattoo so far which is very meaningful.

Update: the artist Bruno called and emailed me to apologize for the issue. I didn't get work done but I do appreciate the apology and trying to make things right.
Came in at 12:30 to get a large piece. There were two young teenage clients ahead of me. Checked in and completed paperwork and asked the guy at the counter if we could grab a beer and come back.
45 minutes later return and speak with an artist. He asks for an hour to draw it up and get ready. We go run some errands and get the cash for my tattoo since the place is cash only and return at 3:30. No joke, there is a girl in the

I got my first tattoo from here..I had an awesome experience. The crew is very friendly. Kenny was there to collect my ideas and James helped me in finalizing the design. I got an arm band. James did an awesome work... am really happy with my tattoo even Though I ended up paying 30% extra than the quotes which I received from other near studios in sunset blvd.
If I decide to get one more then I would definitely go with James again..

I went to Alchemy to get my first tattoo, and my experience was better than I could have hoped. The employees and artists at the shop are very relaxed, friendly, and easy to get on with.
I brought in references and sketches and my final design perfectly reflects what I was going for. The parlor is very clean, organized, and easy to find.
Overall, I loved Alchemy and I will probably be going back for my second tattoo, as well as recommending it to anyone looking for a parlor.

My sister and I came in late afternoon last Monday to get our first tattoos. Although we didn't make an appointment, our tattoo ideas were simple enough to work with and these guys were willing to fit us in last minute.
Jake, our artist, was super sweet and answered all our questions and concerns. He took his time in making sure that we were satisfied with the placement, design, etc. and kept us comfortable throughout the entire process.
Overall, we were very satisfied with how our tattoos turned out! We nearly teared up seeing how awesome it looked!

I found out about this shop from Instagram. I've been looking a place that had artist that specialized in more than one style of tattooing. Turns out they have about 4 or 5 different artist. Their minimum was $60 (I think), which is pretty good considering the SilverLake neighborhood and it's big prices.
I ended up chatting with the owner who's name was Chris and showed him a design I was interested in getting. He was super nice and was able to get me started in less than 30 minutes from the time I walked in the door. The other guys that worked there seemed friendly as well. I got to check out
