Most of our team members begin in the role of Support Staff because this position helps to provide a proper foundation for understanding the industry. Training will be provided to allow team members to perform at the best of their ability. Our Setup Specialists must have a desire to further their knowledge for item identification and pricing.

We selected Old Towne Estate & Antique Sales after interviewing several other estate sale companies. We chose them after Mitch the owner gave us the most detailed information about how the sale would be run. He also had a set plan for a complete clean out. We were very happy with the set up of the sale. It took 4 days and his team who staged EVERYTHING in the most advantageous way possible was also super pleasant & professional. I recently attended an estate sale in Crystal Lake run by this team, and they were so nice! The sale was organized and well run, and they took precautions for COVID, even had masks available. I purchased multiple items and the pricing was very reasonable, and they were more than helpful. I will definitely be following them for sales this summer!

Recently we had an estate sale with Mitch and his team. The girls (Dorothy, Suzie, Gina, Diane and Phyllis) all worked so hard to set up everything so that it presented well. They also made sure important items I forgot to get out of sight were given to me directly so they wouldn't be bought or stolen. During the sale they had a full table of masks, booties, gloves and sanitizer and made sure everyone was in their protective Covid gear before walking the house. I was very happy that Mitch is one of the few Estate Sale business owners that allows you to stay and watch the entire time they're in

My husband and I had a great experience with Dorothy and Gina they were so helpful with tips and we were so impressed, everything we bought was bagged and even with tissue paper for fragile items. The pricing was very fair and they were all so professional and everything was clean and organized nicely with labeling and signage. It was freezing outside and they we’re continuing to go outside to check on us if we needed anything very sweet and considerate folks!! First time I did a review and definitely worth it!

They took time for CoVid safety and somehow managed to be personal, polite and most importantly to me .. respectful of the owners items at the Estate Sale, Gina, Wanda and Nick?.. so polite, so respectful, even at closing time.. so professional but also personal.

The organizers and sales agents were great. Gina, Wanda and I think Nick? Great and honest, but what blew me away was the respect given to both the sellers and buyers of the home estate. Respect ... actual respect for the former stuff we all collect, that means something to us. They get it.

We have been trying to clean out my grandmothers home for about a year. We currently live out of state and have been completely overwhelmed and without direction until your company assisted my family and I with a seamless stress free liquidation and clean out. I love estate sales and I have to highly recommend this fine group of individuals. They did an absolutely fantastic job of pricing fairly but also clearly. The entire bunch did a great job at being helpful and responsive. Mitch was fantastic to work with and fair with the pricing, Gina was helpful in checking us out and making sure we found everything we needed. I can't say enough nice things about this outfit. I have been to quite a few estate sales and, by far, this was the best estate companies I have ever dealt with! I can't say enough good things about them!! Their staff were all so pleasant and extremely helpful! I only caught a few of their names, Mitch, Dorothy, Lauriel and (I believe) Kelly. Their pricing was awsome! I had a large amount of items and Mitch and I negotiated until we were both happy with the price! I brought my husband back the last day and, once again, Mitch gave him a great deal on his items. I've been to a lot Estate sales over the years so I don't feel I'm off base on my judgement. It was staged well. And organized well. Clean. But when you begin with make us an offer, everything is negotiable then you should be willing to deal. So example large box of pencils $1. Great price. Second box with about 1/3 of the amount is also 1$. I say how a out both for 1.25. no way why are you haggling over the price of a bottle of water I was told . Next they had nurses smocks. Used but clean. Couldn't read sizes . $2.00 each. Decent price but again I hear make us

Multiple items items were sold pre-sale and were not narked as sold on the website. They also did not return my email I sent them the day before the sale. I was the first person at the sale on day one and got nothing.... The prices were also a little high and some stuff did not have prices yet. I go to a lot of estate sales and I will not go to this company's sales again.

If you don't want detailed records of your estate sale items, if you don't care that your precious stuff disappears without any knowledge of what happened to it, if you don't care that your property gets damaged, if you don't care that a family member is totally ignored when requesting to buy a family remembrance even though they follow Mitch's instructions on how to make the purchase, if you have time to be at the property every time he and his staff are there preparing for the sale, during the sale and after the sale, and if you want to have to clean up after his departure

This company, specifically the owner is unethical. I visited an estate sale on a Saturday right at the end of business (3:00PM) and found something that I wanted. I returned on Sunday morning (third in line) only to find that the owner sold the item to his friend after hours.
This is not an acceptable practice. Why do his friends get a special privileges of customers? And if this company practices selling items outside of operating hours that should be posted at the sale.
Get your business practices in line, and maybe you will do better, and have a better reputation!
