Because most reviews I read sound phony by being too extreme in either direction, this company went above and beyond providing excellent service.
Today in dangerous weather, David (the owner) delivered my bike!!
All the staff in the shop are accommodating to all of my questions and concerns: Marc, the technician assembling my bike, is very knowledgeable; Rachael at the front desk, provided the initial information prompting the sale; another employee I interacted with only once was very polite.
This shop is very neat and clean, another plus to a customer's experience!

5-star customer service. I recently purchased a new bike from an online retailer. David and his team were exceptionally helpful in getting me right in to build my bike and stock up on essential riding accessories (helmet, spare tubes, tools, etc.). He went above and beyond to ensure my bike was safe to ride since the bike was shipped with an incorrect brake assembly mounting bracket.
I also had a complete bike fit done. David was very thorough in his process, took the time to make sure that the bike fit me like a glove, and gave me tips on how to become a better/safer rider.

My fiancé and I have been wanting some good road bikes for years now. We finally decided to purchase some this weekend and Buda Bike Co. was really the only place we needed to go! David was super helpful and… knowledgeable about which kinds of bikes and gear would be good for us newbs. He let us try out as many as we wanted and helped get our frames just right! We’re now the happy owners of one awesome used road bike and another brand new one. Went out on our first ride this eve and they were great! Highly recommend Buda Bike Co.!

This place is just the best! Totally worth the drive from Austin to make sure my bike is in good hands. David and the crew have always been so helpful, knowledgeable, and kind when I’ve needed assistance. If something’s wonky on my bike, they’re quick to diagnose, explain what’s happening, why it happened, and then they fix it. Hands down my favorite bike shop. Highly recommend!

I recently visited this shop for the first time to inquire about their repair services. The responses I received from the gentleman were in my opinion rude and laced with sarcasm. I was shocked when I found out later this was the actual owner himself. Maybe the guy was having a bad day but needless to say I was not impressed and took my business elsewhere- the Kyle Cyclery folks were amazing and I’m back out enjoying my bike once again!

I purchased my first road bike there. The customer experience was great from the moment I walked into the door and it didn’t end there, I needed a tuneup as most brand new bikes do shortly after starting to ride. I was not only given a tuneup for my bike, but also a ton of advice on how to manage problems in the future if they arose. I’ve gotten hours of enjoyment out of my bike so far and it’s only been a week. I am very satisfied and would recommend this place for any friends or relatives looking to have a nice experience purchasing a bike.

These people were VERY fast and helpful. I expected to drop off my tire that needed to be straightened (among other things) and have to go back to pick it up another day but he took it right away and fixed it in about 10 minutes. The price was also very reasonable. I will be going back for any of my other bike related needs.

Needed to find a bike shop South, I tried another but wasn't satisfied with the quality or attention to detail. Ended up buying a new Drive Train Group set and having Buda Bike Co. replace / tune up the bike as I ride over >120 miles a week. Perfect now...
The professionalism, customer service, quality along with Technical know how were all on point with the price of service very reasonable.
The entire team from the owner who took my initial call to the bike expert were all super cool and knew bikes!

I called around to get price quotes on having a tune up on my bike that has been sitting in a barn for about 7 years. Buda Bike wasn't the lowest price, but they were the closest to me, so I decided to try them out. I am no expert in bikes, but I know how to research and price things out. The crew at Buda Bike were very friendly and very helpful. They were patient and explained everything that was going to be done and what might cost me money. Very nice owner! Very helpful and friendly. Store is clean, organized and well maintained. The dog that greets customers is so adorable. Very small-town friendly! Gotta love that! Only criticism I have is that the changing of a pedal (just one) costs more in labor than the part itself. I know little to nothing about bike shops and prices but that seemed odd to me, but what do I know!?

I brought my Specialized here to get a tune-up & inspection (it sat in my garage for 5 years). In the past, I brought it to larger shops where it took over 3 days to get serviced. So when they told me it would be ready later that day I said to myself "yeah right!"
Well, they were true to their word & I got my bike back all tuned up, with new tire tubes, ready to go again in less than 6 hours! The owner is doing a lot for the local community as well & this is one piece of what makes Buda Mill/Grain a cool place to go!

Nice guys in a small town feel. I like that Buda finally got a bike shop. Unfortunately the niceness does not make up for the lack of business acumen. I lost count on how many times i had to make a trip to the shop based on bad information. A little pricey compared to other shops as well. Things needed; better training for employees, better communication, better processes. Overall business savvy lacks.
