Beware. My boyfriend hired Zalena Kersting and was robbed of approx $5000 per month for the divorce case, and this was just in the early phase of the case. Also this attorney made mistakes by not claiming some income from the other party that he lost $25-50,000 of money he is supposed to collect from the other party. Overall my friend was taken for a costly ride. DO NOT HIRE. This attorney like to "stir" and make both parties more angrier so the case will get more costly and longer to settle. There were settlement offers which she did not disclose, or the divorce would have settled and cost less

There is nobody in this world who I would ever trust with the possibility of loosing my child. Nothing but a blanket of fear and anxiety going into this. This wonderful lady and her team have just begun the fight for my child and she has given me the comfort of being able to go to sleep knowing my baby boy is safe with me and I can actually sleep in peace. I don't want to imagine what it would have been like if I want with anyone else.
She got my son back!
Then she won virtually every issue in the divorce case.
My wife absconded to CA with my child, without notice, without a restraining order, without a court custody order or any legitimate legal right. My wife wrongfully accused me of being a drug addict, alcoholic and claimed my autism made me a unfit to parent, all without any evidence.
Thankfully, I had an amazing lawyer, along with the rest of her staff who helped me process everything that was going on

In my opinion, Ms. Kersting is the kind of lawyer who gives other lawyers a bad name. In a recent case, she cut off any possibility at settlement negotations that could have prevented a costly and abrasive trial, submitted pleadings that contained personal attacks (as well as typographical errors), and at trial made emotional rather than fact based arguments. The whole proceeding could have been avoided through a settlement and was a waste of everyone's time and money.
