SHALINI SITZMANN IS BOARD-CERTIFIED in internal medicine with a decade of experience in primary care. A graduate of the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, she completed her internal medicine residency at Washington Hospital Center. Along the way, she fell in love with the vibrant, diverse community of Washington, DC and decided to make it home.
She started her solo practice in 2017 to help address the need for personalized, patient-centered care. As a doctor of osteopathy, Dr. Sitzmann has built her medical practice around the belief that the human body has the intrinsic ability to heal itself. Her role as a physician is to remove barriers so that you can overcome whatever health challenges life throws at you.

Our goal is to provide personalized care for our patients. We do not participate with insurance companies which allows us spend the time we need with our patients. Her professionalism is second to none. As for the care she provides I truly appreciated her approach of treating me as a person, no hurried review of my file as she scampers from her previous patient in the next room, and therefore no rush out the door to his next patient.

I was a patient of Dr. Shanini Stitzmann for over 7 year and can't say enough about her care. Her professionalism is second to none. As for the care she provides I truly appreciated her approach of treating me as a person, no hurried review of my file as she scampers from her previous patient in the next room, and therefore no rush out the door to his next patient. That's really nice, and not like the typical doctor. I felt she truly cared about me as a patient and as an individual.
