He performed 2 surgeries on me. The first did nothing to relieve the pain, and the recovery was very painful.
The 2nd did allow me to stop taking some of the meds that I needed to stop taking, but it also left me with a permanent disability (foot drop) and chronic pain. As soon as I woke up from the 2nd surgery, I had foot drop. I did NOT have it before surgery. Dr. Kushwaha kept stating that he didn't cause it. I disagree. Now I have a limp and have to wear a brace, and take pain meds for life. The recovery from this surgery was also very painful.
The worst part is that neither of those 2 surgeries

I saw dr kushwaha in 2003 looked at the X-ray of my back that he took and told me that he could help me March of 2004 I had surgery on my back and 6 months later he said that I was about 80-90 percent healed I had no problems with my back until 2017 when I broke my pelvis and I found out that the l3 was bulging. I have never had any problems with him at all but I may have startled him with my recovery

Please !!!!!! please read before using this group of Dr.'s due to office staff.!!!!!!!!!! We were referred to this Dr.Vivek Kushwah. It was the most horrible experience with the office receptionist her name is "Lilly" . I can not believe that any provider Would want a person with her horrible patient service. She not only took it upon herself to tell the patient he could not fill new patient papers, after we were asked to come in early to do so. She brushed us off numerous times and even had the audacity to tell us to move over and to step to the side and or go sit down. Aughhh, I could not believe

My first experience here was not very good. My husband and myself took our 15 year old daughter to see the doctor for the first time. I signed in when i first got there and i watched the 3 ladies on their cell phones all at the same time. i had to go up there and ask them "don't i need to fill out paper work for a new patient?" that's when the lady handed it to me. The hole office were not very welcoming. As far as the doctor he did not introduce himself to us just came in asking who was Olivia.

I’ve been seeing Dr Kushwaha for 20 years for herniated discs and spinal stenosis. He’s not going to ask you about your family or your weekend. He’s not going to tell you what you ‘want’ to hear. He’s very professional and straightforward about your issue and what can and cant be done. He discusses options where you come up with a plan together. He has a low turn over in staff and they’re all friendly and helpful. His secretary Virginia Garcia has been with him at least as long as ive been going to him. She is the best at scheduling and insurance questions.

Dr. Kushwaha is highly experienced and an amazing physician. He repaired my failed lumbar procedure (by another facility/physician) and performed my cervical procedure as well. I have referred several individuals to him, all of whom have come away from the experience very satisfied. I also see Dr. Lin at this practice (for my hip issues) and am very pleased with the level of service both during and after the in-office visit. This is a wonderful practice offering the very best in patient care. Highly recommended! :)

I called on a Monday and they were able to see me Tuesday afternoon. Thankfully, because I was having trouble walking due to back pain. He explained everything in depth, even went back to look at my MRI to answer specific questions. I had a 1:15 appointment and was finished by 2pm. That was seeing him, surgery scheduling, receptionist, etc. Wonderful bedside manner and made me feel comfortable.

Doctors nowadays have to see many patients to break even. With that said, I did not feel my wait was unreasonable, but neither that it was worth waiting for if you will have to wait for hours. Dr. Vivek seemed more interested than the last two doctors I saw. Thus, I did not expect much interest from him to begin with. So, the little interest he showed me was enough for me to go back and stay with him. My back condition has improved, but the discomfort is not yet gone. Overall, I have faith in this doctor. Discussions of surgery are now in the works, after two years.
