I can not say enough good things about Dr Elkousy and his staff

I saw Dr. Elkousy for a consultation to find I need total shoulder replacement.
This is not good news but Dr. E couldn’t have been nicer. He explained my options and I received an injection. This is a lot for a woman my age, now alone, to comprehend.
I’ll schedule surgery when I’ve adjusted to the idea of the complicated procedure (and scarring) and have a plan in place for recovery.
His assistant promptly returned my call the next morning to answer questions I’d forgotten to ask and alleviate concerns.

Everyone who helped me was professional and knowledgeable. I really felt comfortable with Dr. Elkousey and his PA and felt that his explanation of the procedure I was going to have was very thorough. Also very impressed with the pre-op staff who stayed late to get me registered for next week in order that I did not need to return to the facility prior to my surgery.

We are so fortunate to have Hussein Elkousy, MD as our orthopedic physician with my knees and more specifically 2 rotator cuff surgeries. The last rotator cuff repair was on February 28th. Then surprise Covid quarantine. Follow-up visits were not to be had. As they were for prior rotator cuff surgery. But I was not left stranded. Dr. Elkousy had educated me so well in the procedure the first surgery I knew what to do until the time came I could get back for follow up visit. Dr. Elkousy maintains an excellent website for his surgeries and as well handouts so you know what to do and expect in each

Dr. Elkousy repaired my rotator cuff in 2008, my recovery was considerably better than other people's shoulder repairs that I know personally. I highly recommend him to anyone that has a shoulder or knee problem. I have been back to see him for knee, shoulder and arm issues since 2008 because I trust him to give the best diagnosis and recommendations available. He has been spot on every time. I sent a co-worker to see him for shoulder problems and he was well pleased as well.
