Walter J. Cukrowski, M.D. is an American Board - Certified surgeon. He attended the University of Michigan for both his undergraduate and medical degrees. He is a very dedicated doctor and surgeon performing laser treatments, treating retinal problems, and performing cataract, glaucoma and refractive surgery.
Christopher Cukrowski, D.O. is an American Board-Certified Ophthalmologist. He attended Michigan State University and Oakland University for his undergraduate studies, and Des Moines University for his medical degree. A dedicated doctor caring for patients with diabetic eye disease, retinal issues, glaucoma, and dry eye.
Mark Rubinstein, M.D., is an American Board - Certified surgeon. Dr. Rubinstein attended the University of Michigan for his undergraduate degree and Wayne State University for his medical school education. Dr. Rubinstein specializes in glaucoma, refractive, laser, plastic reconstructive and microscopic surgery.

Went there to get eyeglasses for the first time. The lady at the door was rude to my mother as soon as we walked in. I got my eyes exam and went through choosing frames, lady told me two weeks which was great because I would be traveling for a month. Today I Couldn’t wait to get my glasses as soon as I landed. Went to the office and sat while the same person i ordered the glasses with, searched all over for my glasses that she never ordered.I am going back on the road tuesday so no chance of getting them. Imagine driving on the freeway and your glasses fall off your face, and you have such bad

Been a value customer for over 10 years ! My glasses broke while at work and I wanted to see if I can get some sample contacts until my glasses are repaired . They wouldn’t give me a sample even after telling them I needed them for work because my vision is horrible. Apart of my job is inspecting parts and I can’t accurately do so with my bad vision . Horrible customer service, all they care about is money . Instead of customer experience. After 10 years i feel betrayed . Will be looking for another eye institute

I always have a smooth transition when I come to this office. The staff is professional and friendly. Also the doctors are thorough and caring about the patient and their eyes. They don’t just process you, they take time to explain your eye diagnosis, and how they can help you to enjoy your vision.

I really like my experience at Michigan Eyecare Institution. Dr Cukrowski is really nice, passionate about his work, and seems very knowledgeable. His brother Walter too. They give good advice and everything in terms of the speed and efficiency of service is excellent. Top notch stuff. The ladies at the front desk are helpful too and can tell you what u need to know. Overall good experience.

Scheduler was very rude when trying to make an appointment . I actually stop by with my mother a few months ago to pick up her glasses and thought this place is pretty cool so I had the young lady in the eye glasses dept to look up my insurance she told me when scheduling give social security number so they can look it up and that I had insurance . Jump to today I called to schedule an appointment a VERY rude girl answered the phone and refused to schedule me an appointment because I did not know what kind of vision insurance I have through me place of employment. well it don’t matter I called
