Caring Presence Psychotherapy
Until then, take a deep breath and then another; this works to calm your body and settle your nervous system. Do what you can to stay well, safe and socially connected while being physically distant. Through a variety of creative techniques I'll guide you to listen and learn from the wisdom of your body.

These techniques may include clinical hypnosis, gaining a deeper understanding of your pain through intuitive listening, or connecting to nature through sensory processing. When you understand that your body provides innate wisdom and guidance, you will achieve a greater sense of presence. You will be able to recognize and release the tension that you are holding, offering relief from the challenges you're faced with.

Focusing somatically engages the whole person in a dynamic interface between mind, body, emotion, and spirit. Research shows that stretching, sensing and sighing help release tension in your body, soothing the nervous system and helping you to feel better. Feeling more connected to and grounded in your body helps during moments of stress and uncertainty.
I believe our emotions live in our bodies. That's why I've dedicated my life's work to helping people overcome their limitations by offering guidance to awaken their body's inherent wisdom. When you're in pain it's easy to spiral into feelings of negativity. But what most people don't understand is that those negative emotions can actually make your symptoms worse.
Since we evolved as part of nature, attuning to the natural world helps to recalibrate and soothe the nervous system. Coming to your senses engages a well-spring of energy available for healing, growth and transformation. Walking among trees in guided forest bathing workshops and retreats is relaxing and rejuvenating.
