I ordered a laptop online and received my order dusty, and with a failing screen, and a broken keyboard. The reason I am giving a 4 star review though, is that they worked with me until the end to make sure I was satisfied with the replacement system I received. Dean was especially helpful in facilitating the solution to my problem and I appreciate his efforts. Still though, because of the rather lengthy delay, some of which was admittedly my fault, I just can't in good conscience give that fifth star. I have had good experiences until we came in to get my son a gaming computer for his birthday earlier this year. Guy with curly hair and glasses sold us a computer that we seriously overpaid for. Had NO graphics card. We took it to someone else for the graphics card and were told that it's actually a storage computer.

I have been coming to Action computer since 2009. I have bought 4 computers from them and had one updated to Windows 10...I have always been pleased with the knowledgeable service techs and wonderful service. Also they recycle your old computer for free and are great if u need to return for operating questions like TECH CHALLENGED FOLKS LIKE ME. Lastly, I feel good knowing I am reusing a new to me refurbished computer at a great price.

This was my first time going into the store, and it was absolutely the best experience I’ve had buying anything! Dean was friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and super courteous. He truly made this the most fun purchase I’ve ever made. These are a good group of guys. Personable and can quickly solve a problem when asked. I am fairly computer savvy but they make a point of not "talking over my head". Well i brought my computer into the arvada location on sunday had them take a look at it. They were very polite and took a look at the system and everything worked fine. It turns out the computer was trying to update and thats why it was so sluggish. I was a little quick to write a negative review and i hope to do business with action computers again in the future.

I can't say enough great things about Arvada Action Computers. Jesus and Preston came through for me BIG TIME!! today. I'm a 69 year retired journalist who is good with words but not technology. Today they synced everything for me and I am ecstatic! Last week I bought my this computer from them and it is great! I told them they remind of Radio Shack..small, but very personal service. One of the desktops would not connect to the internet, and after 30 minutes, the tech was unable to fix the issue. The vice president of the company was behind the counter that day and was very helpful in helping me find a replacement unit off the shelves.
The laptop turned into a disaster for me.
Bottom line, Jeff the office manager, contacted me and we worked out a deal that was agreed upon by both parties. Thank you Action Computers.

Went in with my mac, after Apple told me my hard drive is fried and that I need to buy a new one pretty much. They checked my laptop and told me my hard drive is fine and they figured out was wrong instead and replaced the part. I thought I was gonna have to for out a couple of thousand moolah for a new computer, because of them- I forked out $60 and my computer is fine. Thanks Camden!

The trouble I had was how long everything took. When I originally took it in it was Friday February 10th, and they told me they would have a look at it on the following Monday and someone would give me a call. This place had great reviews on Google but I should have checked yelp first. Holy this place is sh*t, I have an iMac that just the bulb burned out on it. The screen is really dark but I can still slightly see the screen and somewhat navigate it. Thats how I know its just the effing bulb and have talked to 4 other repair shops also saying its just the bulb and takes 20-30 minites to replace. Quick repair.
These guys not only took 4 hours just to look at it and diagnose the problem but cracked my screen! Then fed me some bs about how it was smoking, and they smelt smoke. And all he had to say about

I came in and was immediately helped - which was great, because I had only 10 minutes to buy a computer. The guy who helped (P. Adam or something or other, sorry!) was direct, straight to the point and knew exactly what I was looking for. It helped that I knew what I was looking for too. He didn't linger on trying to sell me, just got straight down to the facts. Upon check-out, he explained everything (warranty, first time turning on the computer, etc) thoroughly and quickly, without being too overwhelming, and at the same time not dawdling at all.

In the past this place was great to go to for help. They were understanding of peoples lack of knowledge of computers. Now its changed. They tend to make you feel stupid when your asking questions about different products and/or when you bring your desk top or laptop in to be fixed or updated.
Their prices have gone up a great deal and doesn't seem worth it anymore.
I live in Arvada and like to support Arvada business but when treated like that why bother.

Don't bother wasting your time with these nerds. Poor customer service, including unable to LISTEN. Charge a fortune and you'll still have issues. I wouldn't buy any used items either. They are clueless as to how to repair a simple item.
Also, they give extremely low prices for selling or trading. Just plain JERKS.
