This dates back to the 50's, when the family owned Desiato's Bakery was open for business on Lyell Ave. I have been going here for years and have never disappointed unless they ran out of the special that day. I stopped in for a breakfast sandwich and 100% will return for lunch. The choices of add ons is amazing. I opted for ham, peppers and onions , and a sweet sauce. Any breakfast item comes with a coffee as well. The soup selection looks great as well as all of the subs. Tons of seating a available or just to take out!

Big fan of this place. Got a buffalo chicken finger sub and it was so good! And sizeable. A small sub here could easily last you two meals.
Wife got a chicken finger garbage plate. Their meat sauce is delicious. My new favorite place to get garbage plates, without a doubt. Dare I say it, best garbage plate in Rochester.

I've ordered a lot recently as I now work nearby. large subs are not built as in there's little by way of anything but bread. I don't get the high praise. $18 for a large sub should mean substantial meat, cheese, etc. I do like the potato salad but its a bit mealy, I wonder if they use canned potatoes. Chili was so spicy, it was inedible. That said, I like spice and Indian food. This was unexpectedly over the top. Frankly, Dibellas is by far a better sub! I've tried many locales.

The bread is amazing, you can tell its freshly baked and not in some machine like device. It actually seems handmade.
The prices are pretty good, about 9 bucks for a large which is on par with the rest of the places locally I've tried.
The staff is friendly and the place is clean and inviting.
I guess its the cold cuts that don't impress me. They taste okay but the texture is weird making me think its some lower end branch of meat, more like shopping at Tops

Not much to look at but the food is delicious...they have a special sub every day! My favorite is the pulled chicken soooo good! Another one I love is the Italian sausage in red sauce yummmm!! They also have soup, salads, desserts and more!! Check them out next time you are hungry and in Henrietta!!

If you are a breakfast sandwich person, you have got to give them a try. $5 gets you a 6" (homemade!) roll, eggs, your choice of meat (bacon, ham, sausage), your choice of cheese (American, swiss, provolone, shredded cheddar), AND grilled veggies (peppers, onions, and/or mushrooms). AND it comes with a free coffee! I can't believe I've gone so long without knowing about them. The food was hot, fresh, quick, and delicious. They were good about COVID protocols and I was on my way in less than ten minutes. I will definitely be back to try their lunch menu as well!

Made a second trip this time meeting up with a friend. We decided to split a large meatball and mozzarella sub, this thing was more than enough for two people. Great service and nice people, we decided to sit at one of the tables outside in the shade. They have excellent house made rolls, the meatballs and sauce had good flavor but they were barely warm and the cheese was fresh from the fridge cold a real let down..
Dropped a star on the rating as they weren't busy when we were there and it's not that hard to put a hot sandwich out hot, as it still being covid I didn't want to take

Can I just say when I get hangry, I get really really hANGRY, and I was extra hangry today.
While out shopping in Henrietta my husband suggested we stop here. He has eaten breakfast at Disiatos and raved about it. We wanted something quick and warm. Disiatos did not disappoint. He had The grilled Cowboy... he modified it slightly by only getting roast beef, turkey and 1000 island dressing on an everything roll. Who doesn't love an everything roll. Yum!! It typically comes with lettuce, tomato and jalapeƱos. I opted for a chicken finger sub. The chicken fingers were fried to perfection

I've eaten here, as well as ordered catering for my department & they've exceeded my expectations every time. The bread & ingredients are fresh & delicious, the catering orders are prompt, everything that should be there, is there & they're so friendly.

Hours and this place really hit the spot. You can miss if you speed through the intersection but take a u turn and get yourself a sub! The small was not small at all and the bread so was so fresh. Turkey was turkey but hey that's usually what you get with a turkey sub!
