It's great to have an import shop in town. There's a pretty wide selection of food from around Eastern Europe. Not so much from Central and Western Europe. The foods are a hard-to-find delicacy and at not unreasonable prices for imports. The inventory changes seasonally and particularly around the holidays. At that point they stock up on popular items such as those from Germany for Weinachten. I've had their liquor filled chocolates and they are quite good and fresh as well, Especially considering their import status.

Fresh homemade blintzes are to die for! In addition to traditional cheese, they also have cabbage, mushroom, and meat filled varieties as well.
Their homemade soups and pierogis are fantastic! They have real rye bread you can't get at other grocery stores in the area, their assortment of pickled vegetables and jarred sauces are great, and they've got all sorts of Eastern European desserts.
This is such a treat to have in Rochester!

I’m glad to find European products there. However what upsets me is that they sell expired products. So be aware to check the dates before you by. Also Many items don’t have the price, so when I buy I’m not sure if the food actually sold by the price it costs. The check comes out very expensive, not sure if it’s the price of the food is so high or the cashier is miscounted. Let’s say I buy dumplings and they cost more than 20$ per pack. I’m not sure if it’s the correct price. The receipt is made that way so you can’t really check the prices. Many items are sold under miscellaneous

The sales person is extremely rude, mean. Always tries to push you buy someth.expired. Not professionla at all. When ask something particular, replyed: "You are so picky, don t come or buy someth.from us. We have a lot of customers spending more money than you do"
Unbelievable, do not recommend this store to anyone. The manager should revise who he is hiring.

Lovely little grocery store! I went in to get some frozen chicken pelmeni, which I recommend everyone tries! I also got a slice of one of their many delicious looking cakes! The lady working the counter told me it was a type of honey cake and it was wonderful. The service here is very efficient and there's never much of a wait at the checkout or cases. Their items are also reasonably priced for imported goods! I recommend for anyone interested in trying new things!

Small, unique European deli located in the small strip mall along side two other Penfield well known restaurants- Michael's Valley Grille and Steve's Original. While the decor inside is very simple and plain, the offerings of unique European delights available are far from that. Europa has several varieties of specialty chocolates, coffees, meats, breads and other rare items for purchase.
While visiting for the first time I purchased a loaf of one of their specialty breads which had a delicious crusty outside and a soft delectable inside that when warming back up when I got home was amazing

I have found a gem of a Deli! If you like the food of Eastern European Cuisines then you need to check this place out! This place is absolutely delightful! A great selection of canned goods, ranging from meat to pickles, noodles and breads, but what really impressed me are the homemade traditional foods they so lovingly offer from their own… kitchen. Stuffed cabbages, meat and vegetable stuffed noodles, along with some impressive desserts. On top of all of that, there is the most wonderful couple running the business, (I'm sorry I didn't get their names). Incredibly helpful and very friendly

My wife and I went to lunch with my sister and brother-in- law today. First visit ever. What a great surprise. My sister and I both had their cabbage rolls and shared a bowl of their sour cabbage soup. The soup was outstanding. Chunks of potatoes and cabbage in a creamy broth. That alone was worth the visit. The cabbage rolls were also excellent with rice and pork rolled in a cabbage leaf and served in a yummy tomato sauce with a side of grilled rye toast. My wife had cheese blintz with strawberries that she refused to share... Must have been good. My brother in law had a Rueben and a side

Long deli counter with a variety of prepared foods, fish, cheeses and sausages. Wide selection of Slavic/Eastern European foods and groceries at really good prices. 2 freezers stocked with an assortment of pierogies. 2+ aisles of goodies you probably won't find at your local grocery store. The customer service is pleasant, and the owner's mother helped us with all the questions we had plus tasting samples including sunflower halva!

I've been all over the United States to find the best crepe cafe ... Who knew that the best one I'd find no not in LA nor NYC ~ it is in Rochester NY ~ Penfield to be exact! It was worth driving in a snow storm to start my 2014 right! This place raised the bar for great service, despite the previous reviews, we find the crepes even better!

This cafe is a hidden gem. I recently went here for lunch and the experience was fantastic. The hummus and baba ganoush platter was plentiful and delicious. Some of the best I've every had. I had the pastrami wrap and my friend had a panini and we both took leftovers home. Their coffee beverages have the added flare of latte art which I enjoyed seeing first-hand.
Aside from the lunch menu, their dessert case made us instantly drool. Gorgeous cakes, pies and cookies! We didn't have any room left for dessert but will definitely be returning to check them out.
