During a bail hearing, a judge sets the defendant's bail. The amount for bail isn't only off of the severity of the defendant's crime. It also strongly depends on the judge's consideration, and that can be influenced by the defendant's previous convictions, family, ties to the community, and employment history and status.
Even though banks, insurance companies, and other similar institutions can act as sureties for their customers and policyholders, these types of institutions can be reluctant to put their clients' funds at the type of risk which is involved in posting bail. Fortunately, at our bail bonds agency, we make it our business to act as a surety for its clients' bail.
Even though the first modern-day bail bonds in the United States were founded by Peter P. McDonough in San Francisco in the late 19th century, there is some archaeological evidence that shines a light on the business's ancient past. Clay tablets circa 2750 BC, which were discovered in modern-day Iraq, describe a bail bond practice similar to the idea behind today's methods and practices.
If a friend or family member needs your help with posting bail, here are a few questions you should be prepared to answer. When you contact a bail bond agent, it is important to know the full name of the person in jail, what their booking number is, which jail they are in, and what he or she is being charged with.

I just called to get Bond information for someone I know. The woman who answered the phone was very rude and advised me that I had to call for jail and get all the bond information and amounts. Then call her with that information so she could tell me how much it was going to be.
NO B, that's your job. If you're unwilling to perform/offer the services in your job description then don't advertise the service. Just plenty of people out there that would take your position seriously.

Very RUDE! My older sister called in reference to my younger brother and received his bond amount and information of that sort. I also called to confirm everything. She was short and followed with “someone JUST called for him” before giving me the information that I called for. Once I collected all the money needed to make the bond, I was then told BEW information that was not given during the first TWO calls! If you don’t want to do your job then quit, but being rude to customers is not going to cut it. I will make sure to tell anyone I know looking for a bondsman to stay AWAY from Fast

This review is based off of my interaction by phone...they lady was very rude and short (more so than most bail bonds) and she came off like she just didn't want my money. I told her I needed to take care of 2 things for my brother she cut me off to tell me they don't do ticket bonds . She rushed me off the phone so quickly i couldn't ask about bond for the new charges he had. Fast Action Bail Bonds, you have not only lost a customer but your 1st and only review is a negative one due to your poor phone eticut and terrible attitude.
