Went here today because we were craving a sandwich, I'm giving it 3 stars because honestly I don't think it's worth the money. 10$ for a small ok sandwich doesn't sound right. Got the turkey sandwich and I added bacon and avocado, The sourdough bread was good but their was barely anything on it, very small amounts of turkey, bacon, avocado, tomatoes and pickles, a ton of lettuce though, Also maybe a drop of mayo.

Love this corner store. They have a great beer selection. The staff is always friendly. They have snacks, ice cream, milk, heavy cream, deli meats, batteries, etc.. All sorts of convenient things for neighbors to walk to and buy. Also the sandwiches and salads made at the counter inside are delicious and a good price. Please tip the ladies who make you a yummy sandwich well. There are seats outside to enjoy your food and nonalcoholic drink at too.

I ordered through GrubHub for lunch with my friend today. She got the turkey bacon, avocado, the works on whole wheat. I got tuna salad with tomato and pickles on sourdough. The price is a little high, but the sandwiches were top notch. So tasty! Will order again. GrubHub delivered in less than 30 minutes. It's nice when these things work out.

This nice little corner store has everything you could think of! Staff are so friendly.The deli in here never disappoints. The sandwiches are delicious as they are made with boars head meat/cheeses.You can go off the menu or build your own sandwich and make it however you like! Overall awesome place with great staff and food!

I love this place. The fact that it is walking distance from my place has made my move here all the better. Their sandwiches/wraps are always 100% on point and they have literally everything. I was in a pinch cooking for Thanksgiving and I needed cream of mushroom soup. What do you know?! Monroe's had it. Saved me from standing in line at Von's for 45 minutes. The service is always 10/10, you feel like you bumped into an old friend every time you go. Turkey club wrap is a must try. I love this place and I hope it never changes!

This place is a neighborhood gem! They have great sandwiches and salads! Fair portions for the price. I used to live in NYC where you can find some of the best delis, and this one definitely measures up! Locally owned (maybe even family owned), and they ALWAYS remember my name. They make everything FRESH, so I recommend calling ahead to place your order.

I'm from the north east so I'm pretty judgy about deli sandwiches and bagels. In general I find sandwiches in California are either too boogie or bare, either way they're trash. However, this place is legit and I'm so happy I found them! I got a traditional BLT on rosemary sourdough bread and it was BOMB. It tasted fresh and it was layered up. Also the staff was really friendly. 10/10

The market itself is great. The deli is average. Some days the sandwiches are really good and thick, and others they are poorly made with barley anything in there. It just depends on who's working and making them that day I guess. I wouldn't recommend their Italian sub btw. Typically their build your own sandwiches are on point, just wish there was consistency in how they made their sandwiches!

Wish I had the chance to have tried this spot out when I lived in the area. I did finally get a chance to hit this place for a pick up lunch via Doordash. Boar's Head deli meats are the best. This place carries that deli and it is delicious. I tried out the roast beef sandwich on the make your own sandwich option. I'm already planning my next sandwich run here.

It was my first time trying out this place and it did not disappoint at all. I got a sandwich delivered which if any one knows anytime you get a sandwich to go it's probably going to get a little soggy depending on how far you have to go or how long it sat there waiting for it to be picked up.
My sammich showed up like it does in the pictures so automatically I was like this is going to be a good meal!! I know it's a sandwich but presentation matters in my book. They use quality meats so it also

Today I went to Monroe's Market & Deli and I asked his Deli clerk to pull Ted out of the fridge from his duties to make a special request. I only did this because I've seen the hard work Ted does to keep the shop going and I also respect his creativity.

This place makes some very good sandwiches if I may say so myself. First off, parking is street parking only which I generally loathe, but was able to find a nearby spot quickly. We were yelping for a place to grab lunch after dropping off my car at Darby's Autobody which is a couple of blocks away and found this gem on Yelp. The time was around 10:45 AM, may be a lot more difficult during peak hours. The deli is inside of a liquor/convenience store. Love this neighborhood corner store. It has a great deli for awesome sandwiches & salads. But best of all are the wine choices and at such great prices. Many of the wines are discounted if one buy's two of the same wine. Right now I am loving the Motto Unabashed 2014 Zinfandel @ 12.99 or two for $20. They are open 8 am to 10 PM seven days a week.
