Symmetry Pilates Center offers high quality personalized fitness training in STOTT PILATES and TRX strength training for all ability levels. Training with Symmetry Pilates Center means having access to New Hampshire's only STOTT PILATES lead Instructor Trainer, physical therapist, and one of only 7 Rehab ITs in the U.S.
Services
Pilates Reformer implements the STOTT PILATES methodology with specific exercises done on the Reformer. The reformer work can be done in a private setting or as a group. This 50 minute class may incorporate small equipment such as bands, weighted hand balls, small stability balls, the fitness circle, and the large stability ball to add variety and identify areas of weakness or imbalances to improve.
TRX is Functional Strength Suspension Training. The goal of functional training is to emphasize the transfer of fitness gained from exercise into improved performance in sport and daily activities. TRX employs an integrated approach of strength, balance, coordination and flexibility. This type of training demands neuromuscular coordination to build optimal strength and performance.
Whether you are currently recovering from injury or looking to further your strength and stability from a previous issue or injury, a specialized STOTT PILATES program can help you achieve your recovery goals. Pilates can help with injury recovery by addressing our bodies muscular imbalances in a controlled and painfree way.

Stay pilates fit with Symmetry! Symmetry is now offering virtual or online pilates classes and private trainings for our existing clients as well as having the ability to reach out to more people regardless of their location. Classes and training sessions are LIVE and not prerecorded. Clients with a web camera on will be seen by the instructor as if the instructor was in the room with you.

For 8 or more years I've depended on the staff at Symmetry to keep me functioning despite injurys, a broken leg and rotator cuff surgery, which are now undetectable. My workouts are never repetitive, alway tailored to my needs, which I'm often clueless about until they educate me. The mind/body challenge is better than puzzles or repetitive exercises. My happy place!

Cheryl Alden of Symmetry Pilates Center offers topnotch STOTT Pilates workshops for Pilates Instructors, providing insights that can be used in the studio the next week. For clients like myself who have experienced a dysfunction or injury, Cheryl Alden's keen observations skills teamed with her in depth knowledge of anatomy and Pilates yield very productive lessons.

All of the instructors at Symmetry are fantastic. I have been coming here for over a year now and can really see the difference in my posture and strength. These gals know what they are doing! There is no place like Symmetry Pilates. I have practiced Pilates for close to 18 years and Symmetry is the first studio that brings the best of the best together - Instructors; Studio; Atmosphere. The studio is owned by Cheryl Alden who is a Physical Therapist, elite athlete and a Stott instructor trainer. Classes stay true to Stott core practices built on the modern principles of exercise science and rehabilitation with each session tailored to the needs of the client. I have worked privately with Cheryl Alden for several years now on core strengthening and spine stability. She was a major influence on my ability to recover quickly from and regain my strength after a major elective spine surgery. Since returning to Cheryl post-op, I have seen a rapid improvement in my overall strength, stability and balance. Being a licensed PT as well, Cheryl has been an invaluable source of knowledge for questions that arise as I reintroduce activities post-op. I highly recommend Symmetry and wouldn't think of going anywhere else!

I have had the pleasure of working with Cheryl (the owner) of Symmetry Pilates Center for many years now. It has been a great experience. Cheryl, being a physical therapist, pilates instructor trainer (including rehab), and avid athlete including multiple marathons and Ironman competitions, has a tremendous volume of knowledge and experience to help train and/or rehabilitate her clientele. Whether its general strength training, core stability, rehab from a specific injury or all of the above, Symmetry is the place. I strongly recommend them. I can tell you that there is nothing like Symmetry Pilates Center. I can tell you that you'll love it there and won't be disappointed, if you give it a try. This place is unparalleled in the focus of the work-out and in the resume experience and attention-to-detail of the owners/instructors. Both Liisa and Cheryl are there for the students, to ensure that techniques are being followed to get the most out of the work-out and to ensure that students are comfortable with the pace of the work-out.
