Early in her work, she identified the value of collaborating with other clinicians to discuss theories and approaches to work with clients, and the value of having more than one clinician engaging with the same client or client system.

My husband and I began working with Karen a few months before our pandemic wedding in 2020. While I am very familiar with and open to psychotherapy, my husband was initially more ambivalent. Karen put him right at ease and allayed his fear that he would end up being blamed for everything. I enjoyed Karen's down-to-earth, straight-forward, yet reflective manner. She really helped us work through some very sticky issues. I am so grateful that she offers video visits so that we can continue to work with her as new issues arise over the years. I highly recommend this practice!

Full Living was recommended to me via several friends and I have been very impressed. Karen did a great intake interview and matched me with a wonderful therapist whose style and personality are a very good match - a huge relief after years of trying to sort through therapists on my own without any way to determine if we would be suited to each other. Karen has made this a very smooth, friendly and straightforward experience and I would definitely recommend her practice!

My boyfriend and I have been seeing Karen for a few months to help us navigate the tricky ups and downs of our relationship. Karen has been phenomenal! She has been a beacon of clarity in dark and confusing times. Her intuition is spot on and ability to connect history with current issues is some of the best I've seen. I highly recommend her or any of the services she is involved in.

I highly recommend Full Living. Karen Smith, the director, is promptly responsive to inquiries and gives a thorough explanation of how the practice works, costs, etc...Karen happens to be my therapist. She is extremely professional, it's easy to schedule appointments, the office is comfortable and private. The cost seems a little high but she will work with you to submit claims to insurance. But the main and most important thing is that she is really insightful and empathetic and knows her stuff.

I'm a clinical social worker/psychotherapist who's been part of the Full Living network for several years and been matched with clients by Full Living director Karen Smith. Karen has a gift for making matches between therapists and people seeking help. When friends and acquaintances ask me how to find a therapist, I like to recommend they call Karen. She is super easy to talk to and provides a free telephone consultation in order to suggest a therapist match. She has access to a whole network of skilled, experienced, and demographically diverse therapists. Searching for a therapist can be confusing
