Friendly, efficient, reasonably priced, and fast! After hearing from another vendor that it would take up to 3 months for them to put new foam into the seat cushion of my mom's favorite chair, I checked out In-Ex Upholstery. I emailed Natasha on Wednesday and got a thorough quote response the same day. Had a lovely experience taking it in on Thursday afternoon (great selection), and I got a call it was ready for pickup on Friday morning. I can't recommend highly enough - a delight.

Go here first! They have a huge selection of vinyl on hand, as well as every kind of leather or upholstery fabric to order. You can get foam or even have them reupholster for you. I called all over town looking for vinyl to reupholster 6 dining chairs with no luck. Joann Fabric and Hobby Lobby had a few bowls and blacks. This place had every color and even some cool textures on hand. Friendly customer service too!

There used to be another foam place in town that was much cheaper. Maybe they were too cheap so went out of business. Okay I can get past that.....
We took some chair cushions in to get the foam replaced. We did like they had samples to sit on to try. I was also able to buy some loose foam for another project. So left our cushions and they were very fast to replace which was nice as we had a house guest coming a few days later. We didn't check closely the quality till we got home. The cushion material was loose and floppy because they didn't cut the foam to fit well. Not a good look

I ordered some foam and it was perfect. My visit was invaluable as the gentleman who helped me listened carefully to my tale of woe about breaking needles often and said that wasn't common. He gave me a better needle to try out. It solved a problem that had been dogging since the day I bought my machine in 1979. I am able to order hard to find supplies at a great price and can't say enough good things about this venue.

What a great experience with this business. Natasha was so friendly and helpful and fun to deal with and though the cost was more than I was anticipating...it's all been worth it to save my chair and a pleasant experience doing it. I have other replacements I'd like to do and I will definitely be back!

My dad is making a gaming table for me. The three necessary things outside his area of expertise were padding for the rails, vinyl to cover the rails, and neoprene for the play surface. Within less than an hour visit, we had foam cut to form, and in stock vinyl upholstery (they don't deal in neoprene). We had a discussion with the lady in the front, an upholsterer who offered advice and recommendations, and the guy who cut the foam to fit. Very pleased at their selection and expertise.

We weren't going home, I already have my cushion in my car, and I just want to get this cushion done and over with. The next shop I called, was In-Ex. The lady I talked to on the phone was very nice. We were there in no time, with my cushion. My concern was, if I put in 2" thick foam, it will not zip, since it's got feather & batting too, it will be shipped around to fit additional foam, but they have a better idea: and I agreed to it, but I don't want to do the work. For the price I was quoted plus the filling, I thought it was a good bargain, and she said it will be done

Mario is great. In fact, he's probably the best in town which is why the antique and vintage shops take their pieces to him. I would suggest you completely ignore Amanda's review. She does sound like someone who would be nothing but trouble. I had two high end, rare 1960's designer chairs reupholstered by Mario. Because of the shape of the chairs he had to hand stitch everything. He did an amazing job. I got his name from one of the vintage shops in town and I'm really pleased I followed their advice.

First I want to start off by saying that Liz is the best. She provided wonderful customer service, was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. My partner and I wanted to get our sofa cushions refilled and we got new foam inserts very quickly. It makes the sofa feel like new again for a fraction of what it would cost for a new sofa. I would recommend them to anybody.

I wasn't sure what to expect coming here the other day and I have little to no knowledge of foam. The girl in front, Jonnie, was extremely helpful and let me sit on different foam as well as shoot ideas around with me. She was to the point and on point. It was a pleasant experience. It's nice to have good customer service. I didn't get to meet the owner but I hear he's great as well. All in all it was awesome. Now I'm trying to think of what else I can reupholster!

Highly Recommend In-Ex, they did a great job in adding better quality foam to two arm chairs for our living room. They have a great sample area in the reception where you can try out different foams and the staff are knowledgeable and gave great advice on selecting the right foam product. We will be using them again to upgrade the foam in our family room sofa.

Owner Mario was a real gentleman when it came to listening to what I had in mind for making my mid-century couch less saggy. We started with re-stuffing the cushions, which he sewed back together by hand (no zippers) at no extra charge! Then he cut a piece of plywood and covered it with fabric to give the seat more strength. He was very pleasant, and even offered to deliver the large board later, for a nominal fee. I may still go ahead and have the springs re-done, just to give the couch more value...and this is something that they can do, as well. I also plan on having a custom cover made for

I have a vintage couch that I scored on craigslist a few years ago and though the bones are really great, the cushions were starting to look pretty sad.
I took my cushions to In-Ex not really knowing what to expect and I must say I was happily surprised by the whole experience.
The owner was very personable and really took his time with me, he explained my options and did not pressure me to make any decisions. I made my choice and the cushions turned out BEAUTIFULLY! They were done ahead of schedule and the couch seriously looks brand new.

And to add insult to injury he processed the charge anyways, it turns out, instead of voiding it. So I've had to go through the entire process of disputing the charge (on a refund the businesses forced on me) through my bank. This from the businesses when alerted "maybe a refund will show up later?".

We decided to try them out as we needed to replace the foam in our sofa cushions and they were close by. We hadn't seen the reviews or we might not have tried them, but were impressed with the knowledgable sales person and they were able to cut and replace the foam in about 2 hours. They fit perfectly back in the sofa. thanks for doing this. We will definitely return

I've never had a sales person try so hard not to sell me something. The man who "helped" me was incredibly rude and dismissive. I was looking for a piece of foam to make my dog a new bed and was perfectly prepared to spend $50 on a nice piece to help my furry friend get a better nights rest. He told me to go to Fred Meyer. Seriously. Having no idea what my price range was or taking the time to find out he told me it was too expensive for me which was demeaning and insulting. Its too bad for them because we have a collection of MCM furniture that needs reupholstering and new cushions

I have had quite a few items upholstered here and had a good experience each time.
They recovered and antique sofa and 2 chairs ($2,000 plus fabric), recovered the cushions in my RV ($800 plus fabric), and I had a bunch of throw pillows made ($200 plus fabric). Each time I purchased the fabric online after getting an estimate from them of how much I would need to do the work requested.
It is not cheap but they do quality work, so it really is for special items you can't bear to part with. Also it is a small shop and they get busy, so the turn around can take some time.
