Skyway Camping Resort
Skyway is a traditional family owned and operated camping resort with luxury twists. This coveted score is claimed by only a few other RV parks nationally. Skyway scores among the best campgrounds in New York state and the entire country. What exactly does that mean and what can you expect? It means immaculate cleanliness, groomed grounds and of course great campsites along with beautiful top rated facilities.

It means we're personally dedicated to doing everything we can to ensure you will have a great, memorable and positive Skyway camping experience. That means we go the extra mile. No corporate-run parks can beat our determination and dedication - or our flexibility - in doing whatever needs to be done.
Services

It feels like a world away but it only takes two hours to get from New York City to Skyway Resort in Greenfield Park, NY. An outdoor resort complete with the ultimate in amenities such as hot tub spas, swimming pool and scenic views. We are a mountain oasis nestled in the very heart of the Catskills / Hudson Valley region.
From April through Columbus Day weekend, our resort offers a variety of family-friendly Catskills events!. Spring has Sprung: and it's that first weekend of camping. Turn right on Route 52 West (GPS 41.716944 & 74.395556) (traffic light) then follow above directions. Larger and longer rigs should avoid using "shortest distance" parameters on your GPS or when looking up directions. We recommend our guests use Route 52 from Ellenville to Mountain Dale Road. Please note that some GPS databases and internet direction generators vary in the spelling of our street address.

We had a seasonal in VT for a few years and it was a NIGHTMARE!!!... We came across Skyway camping resort and fell in love .. everything is so clean, people are so nice and welcoming.. we found our forever summer home...with everything going on right now . SKYWAY is on top of being safe, concerned about everyone's safety but yet making sure they enjoy their stay. ...We love it here

We booked a long weekend here and unfortunately had to request to reschedule when we woke up with a sick kid on what would be arrival day. Skyway offered no opportunity to reschedule (even into next Spring), no credit, and quite simply said it was the last weekend of the season and we'd still be charged for the entire 4 night stay. Yes, I was in receipt of the cancellation policy, but to have absolutely no consideration for extenuating circumstances just made a disappointing situation that much worse.

Went camping here a few weeks back because the KOA's I normally go to we're all full. I read the reviews and decided to give this place a try. Well color me surprised when I had the best time camping in twenty years. The place was well designed, well kept, clean and I mean clean. These were the cleanest bathrooms of any campground I've ever seen. We loved the pool, the peace and quite. The video game room was fun, they have a great store and friendly staff. I was in the pool talking about a problem I had with my my rv and one of the other guest tells me they do onsite repairs here

This was my first time to this camp ground and it won't be my last. For my hubby and I it was a very easy drive - about an hour from our house - and we only had to take one road all the way which was very scenic with easy access since we were pulling an RV. Here are my pros and cons:

PROS: Very helpful staff with very good security. Just as we were pulling in a staff member approached us and told us where to park and where to check in. Our site was literally within view of the office which was actually very convenient since we were close to everything. The whole campground is very clean

I usually wait until I have completed my trip to leave a review here but I don't think I need to wait. Can't get much better than this for us. We are here with friends at the next site and they are happy to
I knew as soon as we pulled in we were going to be very happy here (oak 9) The sights are huge, plenty of privacy even after everyone rolled in on Friday. The fire ring is awesome, haha. I know that sounds silly but it's not just a fire ring, it had a grill over it to cook on. The bathroom and store are immaculate and the people that work here are nice and so are the campers

Skyway is a pretty place, well kept. It is very hilly for a large rig. It was not a great experience for us. Very hard to get in back in space and no guidance upon check in. We damaged our RV panel badly on rocks that were on either side of the road trying to back in. We had a 50 amp site and we noticed our a/c, water heater and several plugs did not work. The panel showed 50 amps. We checked the next day with the manufacture of our motor home. We thought we had major electric problems. Once we left, and tried our generator and got to the next RV park on our trip- everything worked well

I'll start by saying if I was an RV camper I'm sure this campground would have been much more enjoyable. However, as a tent camper, it was pretty bad.

We did book on the late side for a holiday weekend, but the site they gave us was SR13 which was a grassy area between two roads. We asked to switch sites, and they did give us two other options (HSR11 and HSR7, I think!), but those were even less private, so we decided to make do with the proximity to the roads.

When we started setting up our tent, we noticed broken bottle glass and bottle tops all over. We spent awhile cleaning

Visited two weeks ago and enjoyed it so much I can't stop thinking about it. Went with my husband and decided to rent either an RV or a model home cause neither one of us ever camped before. We ended up staying in the model home and it was amazing. First of all, all the facilities at the camping are super clean and very well maintained. The owner and the staff are all extremely nice and helpful in giving recommendations about what to see and do in the area. It rained every day while we were there but it really didn't matter because we were so comfortable and relaxed in such a beautiful

What a spectacular time my family and I had at Skyway campground. Quick ride up from NYC...or an easy and scenic 8:30am bus ride fro Port Authority to Ellenville NY. Rain or shine activities galore. We cooked by the campfire...gazed at the nights starry skies and had to have our smores for dessert. The campers and the grounds are immaculate. It's family run, and they want you to have a wonderful time. Make memories with your family at Skyway. We do...and we love it.

Another great Memorial Day weekend at Skyway for my family, the kids friends, and our other group of trailer/RV buddies. As always, Dave London and family and staff are great. We love the location - close enough to home to avoid lots of holiday traffic, and far enough away to make it a vacation. We can't keep track of how many years we've all gone, but it's at least 7. The kids went for a trail ride down the road, and we visited the New Paltz craft fair. We didn't make it to the hiking trails, but that's because we spent quality time at the campground. It's clean

Came here for a weekend with my boyfriend. We had a great time! The campsite was clean and spacious, and there was a fire pit, picnic table, water and electricity included. The bathrooms were spotless and are clearly maintained frequently. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the office doubles as a little store in case you forgot to bring anything. There is great hiking only a short drive away, and there are plenty of fun activities at the campsite and a beautiful lake. I would definitely come back!

I was introduced to Skyway a few years ago when my then girlfriend (now wife) brought me there for the first time. This place is amazing! Everyone who works there is incredible. They are nothing but helpful, friendly and each person went out of their way to help me feel at home. The property is immaculate. From the pool and hot tub, to the sport courts, the bathrooms and the campsites, everything is kept in pristine condition. This has been a truly special place for my wife and her family, and I can see why. I hope that it continues to be a part of our lives for years to come!

My family has been coming here for over 25 years and I spent my whole summers here as a kid! I even lifeguarded here through my teens. I've made great friends who I'm still in touch with over 20 years later, and I try to come back at least once a summer to visit, now with my husband. Though we don't always make it back for it, our favorite weekend to go is the corn & chili cook-off towards the end of August as it's just one big social evening where the corn is so, so fresh and delicious! The money raised goes to St.Jude Children's Hospital (a charity the owner&apos

One of Americas Best Camping resorts - we stay here as regular seasonal residents and we could not be happier. Grounds are well maintained and service is superior. Family owned and operated for over 40 years and conveniently located off route 52 in greenfield park. 5 minute drive from Ellenville, NY. Good eats in town and on the grounds, you have tennis, basketball, swimming pool, pond with fresh water fish, chipmunks and robin red breasts greet you every morning. Great escape from the city from May 1st through Columbus Day weekend.
