Services
Our on site camp office and country store offers the basic necessities you may have forgotten while packing for your camping trip. The store also provides simple fishing and camping accessories along with boat rentals. Our beautiful enclosed pavilion is where kids go to play ping-pong, pool, air hockey, and video games.
Come experience nature at its best. Hunter Lake Campground offers its campers, whether tenting, RV or seasonal, that old fashion camping experience with all the comforts of modern amenities. We offer seasonal and weekend use of our 94 campsites to our guests. You can enjoy the sights and sounds of mother nature or participate in the many outdoor activities available to you.
Contact Hunter Lake Campground for pricing and availability. Reservations must be made by phone only. A 50% deposit is required by mail at time of reservation to reserve your campsite. We only accept cash, check, or money order for all payments. No credit cards allowed. Cancellations and "no shows" do NOT qualify for a refund.

Absolutely love this place!! My family and I have been coming here for 10 years! Large field for playing and relaxing, great for flying kites and drones. A dock for fishing and a beach for swimming with a floating dock.
Showers in the bathroom, and a recreation hall for even more entertainment.

This is a really beautiful setting, with a perfectly sandy beach, family friendly ambiance and super friendly people!
It’s so easy to relax and enjoy the lake here! The kids loved everything from the fishing, boating and swimming to the playground and game room. Everyone had a fantastic time and we can’t wait to go back!

Hunter Lake Campgrounds is an amazing place to escape NYC. I’m originally from Monticello and have alway appreciate the outdoors especially camping. This place is very kid friendly, the playgrounds are modern plastic playground which are safe for kids, the recreation room is nice which has a rustic feel to it. When I first got there I spoke to a nice lady named Ellen I stayed for 2 days which cost about $70, with that $70 and 5 extra bundles wood which was about $20 for the 5 I was pretty set.
