Baker Sheet Metal Company is a fabricator of custom and standard stainless steel products. Utilizing stainless steel sheet, bar and plate, we can cut, bend and form almost any product. Stainless steel welding is also a specialty. To see just a few of the stainless steel products we fabricate on a regular basis, refer to the items shown on the left.
Flush Panel Doors are flat on both sides and look much like any door you might see in a commercial building. We make them of steel, aluminum, or stainless steel. Extruded Aluminum Doors are the most common on Navy Vessels and are not flat on both sides. They are recessed at the top and at the bottom for the kick-out safety panel.
Buying new or replacement doors has always been somewhat confusing. With so many sizes, shapes, and configurations, who could keep track? Then, in 1987, the problem was compounded when a new drawing was issued to supercede the thirty or so that had originally depicted metal joiner doors. All of the letter designations had changed, even though the doors had not!
