Advex had a hospitality tent on the 6th hole at Sleepy Hole and again was told we had one of the best tents out there. Big thanks to those who manned the tent: Charlie Jackson, Tisha Spotts, George Ford and Roger Morris. This golf tournament is one of the largest tournaments held yearly on the Peninsula and many charities profit from this event.

Advex Corporation's quality goal is to maintain customer satisfaction through the quality production of our products and on time completion. Our leadership, through the empowerment of our personnel, will institute enhanced training, will provide continuous equipment improvement and will maintain effective vendor/subcontractor relationships in order to fulfill these goals.
The Heavy Fabrication Department supports metal fabrication projects in material thicknesses of and greater and individual component weights in excess of 20 tons. This is accomplished in a variety of material types and to various industry fabrication standards. Our personnel possess the core skills to accomplish both routine fabrication as well as complex weldments requiring post-machining and critical non-destructive examination.
The Marine & Industrial group at Advex Corporation has worked with several Department of Defense organizations, such as the US Navy, Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Naval Surface Warfare Center, and Office of Naval Research, and the US Army. We have also completed several projects for other Government entities such as NASA, NOAA and the US Coast Guard.
The Advex Non-Destructive Testing Department employs certified technicians with over 30 years NDT experience. Our highly-experienced and qualified personnel operate state-of-the art NDT equipment and technologies such as Phased-Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) and Computerized Radiography (CRT).
Advex performs traditional and advanced NDE examinations in the field or in-house for most industries; including shipbuilding, construction, petrochemical, oil/gas, power, aviation, and aerospace.

I have worked in the heavy fab shop going on 6 months now, This is one of the best teams I have worked with and I believe that there's nothing collectively we cannot do. Management appreciates new ideas and safety is a high priority. Always get your 40 hrs a week and overtime is available if you are on a project that requires it, the benefits are competitive as well

I work at this company currently and it literally is the best company I have ever worked for. I am a welder in the heavy fabrication shop and work for Wayne Jackson. The group of guys/women that I work with have been the best team of employees I have ever been apart of. At Advex the first and most important aspect is employee safety. Management makes sure we are safe above all else. I have worked at many different places and environments and never have been apart of such an outstanding team. The pay is fair and the benefits are excellent. I’m very happy to be apart of such an outstanding team

I don't understand reviews on this page except disgruntled ex employee's. I have worked there for 4months so far and all's good. Wayne Thompson. OK this is my update and its been 3 years now and I love working here.I work in light fab and the worst thing I could say is that overtime wasn't always available but even when work slowed down I got my 40.like i said good company, hard work(no slackers will make it) and great people.😎😎.....

Ok, these reviews are hilarious 😂😂. Easiest place to work ever and everyone that commented negatively couldn’t read a blueprint if they wanted too. Indoor fab shop with heat. Provides power tools and safety equipment. Competitive pay. 401k matching. Tuition Reimbursement. These reviews came from freeloaders who wanted a paycheck without putting in the work. And honestly the BEST HR department of any company. Do yourself a favor, give this wonderful company a shot. Do not let angry freeloaders turn u away.
