Veronica is great when you can actually get ahold of her. I paid a retainer and didn’t hear back on an extremely urgent matter for restraining orders for my children for days!! I called and emailed and finally had to tell her secretary if she couldn’t take my case I wanted my retainer back immediately so I could find someone who could help me. I received a call within 2 hours. That should have been my first clue. I asked for a receipt and a contract multiple times and still haven’t received either months later. She was great for the 2 court dates we had even though it didn’t go our way

If you want a lawyer that never returns your calls and dose the bare minimum, then Veronica is your lawyer. She was fast to respond to the call, in the beginning, up until I gave her my deposit money. I went to her help for a step parent adoption. She never contacted us, to let us know what was going on. We had to call the court ourselves to see what was taking so long. Months went by with no communication. I was looking for a lawyer to help me with my case. At first I went to one of those places that mail you asking for your business left feeling like all disappointed. It's clear that she either needs a better secretary or have a handle on the people that she represents and set up times to follow up on cases or petitions that she's working on. I've called for a couple weeks no with no return call from her, and sent emails to a lawyer in her office who helps her: NO RESPONSE.
It's been 40 days since our petition was filed per her law office and the state of Utah requires 21 days for the served party to respond. Why haven't we heard anything from her ??

This attorney is intelligent and capable. However, there are two problems that I see in working with her, first, each time I have walked into the office there is a baby at the reception desk. I have no concern about a baby being in the office but it shouldn't be at the reception desk as it can be very disruptive. Second, this attorney has difficulty responding to calls or keeping her clients updated on the status of their case. If she could get a handle on these two areas of weakness, I think she would be one of the best attorneys I have met.

Veronica handled my case very professionally and thoroughly. It was a DUI probation violation case and she was very well prepared and got the necessary parties on board to close the case and be ruled in my favor. I wouldn’t recommend Veronica at all. I was referred to her by my credit union and the experience has been awful. She doesn’t respond to emails or calls and when she is called out on it she says, “it got lost in her email.” My mother passed away over 18 months ago and her probate still isn’t done, and it’s not a big estate. I have emails documenting all of the times I was ignored. I understand attorneys are busy, but contacting someone multiple times over months with no response isn’t even unprofessional, it’s just rude. Honestly, she made my mother’s death worse.
