Services
Barbara M. Pizzolato, P.A. was established in Florida in 2002. The firm was originally created in New York in 1994 when Barbara M. Pizzolato opened her practice as a solo practitioner. Throughout the years we have provided clients with litigation, business law, probate, trust administration and estate planning.
Our estate planning webinars and seminars offer the opportunity for you to get to know our firm and to learn more about the process of developing or updating your estate plan before discussing your particular needs and desires. We find that this allows people to feel more at ease with us during later consultations, enhancing our ability to customize an estate plan that suits you.
Life is filled with unexpected moments, so there is no better time than the present to start the estate planning process. While you may have many years still ahead of you, waiting for the "proper time" to develop your estate plan may decrease your chances to ensure your wishes are effectively carried out.
Giving to charity allows you to change lives and leave an amazing legacy behind, while also reducing your own tax liability. Whether you have one or many institutions you want to support, it is imperative you take steps to ensure you can maximize your gift, minimize taxes, and protect your legacy for the ages.
Serious illness or injury can strike anyone at any time, although the chances of a major medical crisis increase as you age. For most people, their biggest fear is becoming incapacitated- unable to manage their own affairs and make medical or financial decisions on their own behalf.

Incapacity is scary, but if you plan for what happens in this worst case scenario, you'll maintain a measure of control and can ensure you maintain your dignity no matter what the future brings. If your goal is to protect yourself in the event of incapacity, Barbara M. Pizzolato can help you to achieve that goal by creating a comprehensive plan.

Attended her seminar and asked if she would work with an existing trust and estate plan . Her answer a flat NO. She only wants you to sign up from scratch with her plans . Maybe she should limit her practice to newborns, since they come with no financial medical or legal histories . Who we kidding here ? She’s all about the money ! Steer clear !

This was easily the strangest initial call that I have ever had with an attorney - so much so, that it prompted one of my very few Yelp reviews.

I called to try to establish a relationship with a Florida attorney to help settle the estate of my brother, who owned some land there. I tried to ask some initial questions like "where do I begin...". I was quickly shut down and told that they do not offer free legal advice and that I would need to pay $385 per hour if I wanted to discuss anything with them.

I can tell you that I am definitely NOT looking for free legal advice. I am, however

My wife, Kim, and I were completely satisfied with Barbara Pizzolato's re-write of our Living Trust document that was originated under Maryland law and moved with us to Florida law upon our retirement. Barbara Pizzolato's dual state experience and attention to detail in preparing all our needed Estate Documents was very reassuring to us. We also appreciate the continuing support provided by her Estate Plan Maintenance Program.

Very rude person. Only worried about her bottom line. I met her at a seminar and booked an appointment, as was her goal. However, she was not interested in answering questions unless you signed up. I would not recommend her.

Barbara has been handling all my legal needs for at least six years. She is not only competent, she is charming and interested in my particular case as a widow. She has set up my trust and shown interest in my family's concerns that all is taken care of when I pass away. All my family has appreciated her depth of concern. Lucy Love Skinner

I attended one of her estate planning seminars. She offers a free consultation and then basically tell you that you immediately and unequivocally must hire her and pay her 80% of her minimum $2000. up front or get out of her office and not return. If you say "maybe" or "I need to check on something first", she says she will drop your name from her contacts and move on to someone foolish enough to hire her on spot. She was Rude and "Belittling" to anyone who questioned her. She touted memberships in "Marketing Programs" as major accomplishments for her
