My work was influenced by my experiences in Europe as a child. I remember wandering the streets and knowing my work as an artist would always be taken by my time there. Ever since then, I've been completely inspired by past eras, vintage tones, and all kinds of architecture. Mixing natural moments, history, and you and your significant other's memories to create powerful images is one of my biggest passions in life!

My name is Connie Marina, and I'm a Chicago and Destination wedding photographer. What do I like to capture? Absolutely everything. I discovered my love for photography and creating art as a child, and in late college, I began my photography career in the fashion industry ( Connie Marina Fashion) Afterwards I was contracted at local hospitals to take pictures of newborn babies and took pictures of over 400 babies.
About 30% of the weddings booked are travel weddings so am definitely very comfortable traveling for your special day. Each image is individually cropped, color corrected, and balanced, but finer blemish retouching is an additional fee. Unfortunately due to only taking on only a certain number of weddings a year, I do not hold dates.

My biggest piece of wedding planning advice is to hire Connie Marina as your photographer! We were lucky to snag her for our engagement shoot and our wedding day, and for that, we are grateful. Our friends and family still bring up our engagement photos even years later and our wedding photos are truly heirloom worthy. Connie is an absolute joy to work with! As soon as we met, it felt like we knew each other for years! I did a solo shoot with her and she did everything to make me feel comfortable and welcoming at her studio. She was interested about learning about me and getting to know me.
The process was easy and fun and the photos turned out... AMAZING. I felt so happy after seeing the finished photos. Her modern, classic editing technique will keep me happy with these photos forever.

From the first conversation we had with Connie, her energy and excitement was infectious. Connie was always available to answer any questions throughout the process and even sent us sample itineraries from other weddings she had done previously. Connie's wonderful personality really shines on the day of the wedding. Everyone in the bridal party loved working with Connie. The 2nd shooter Connie brought happened to be another principal photographer we had considered hiring so you can be sure Connie brings top talent. We didn't have a wedding planner or organizer but that didn't matter

Connie did my first baby’s first photo shoot and she was so amazing! Not only did the pictures come out so stunning but she was absolutely wonderful with our child. I felt so comfortable handing him to her as she positioned him for the photos because she was so gentle and so sweet. My son must have really liked her too because he’s looking right at the camera in most of the photos so he totally kept his eye on her lol! This was our first encounter with Connie, I didn’t know her prior to doing this shoot but as I mentioned, I was very comfortable with her and I am so pleased with the photos

Connie's work is simply stunning. She took a set of personal portraits for me and the result is more than great. She knows how to conduct her model and capture the perfect moment.
