My name is Allan Goldstein and I am the owner of Aerial Images Photography. Way back in the last century, I graduated from Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago with a B.A in Mathematics. I also earned my private pilots license in the early 1970's, flew for a few years and met my wife Terry, Eventually.
We provide 4 types of aerial photography. From our airplane, we can shoot obliques and planimetrics; from the drone we can shoot low-altitude still and video photography. In all cases there are 2 charges; that of the photography and that for transportation, which are variable based on the distance needed to fly or drive to your site.
Shopping centers, water parks, private homes and businesses, golf courses--you name it, we've shot it--just about everything from A to Z. As we orbit your site, our photographer aims our professional Canon cameras at an 30 to 60 degree angle to the ground, zooms in very tightly, like the house below, or zooms out and and picks up the recreational, retail and residental areas and roadways.
Aerial Images Photography is well-trained in the rules and regulations surrounding drone flight and are one of the few companies in the area who is fully authorized to use drones for commercial purposes. Drones technically are UAV;s--Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, as compared to airplanes, which are piloted by a certified pilot.
Architectural photography is an art in itself. To be done correctly, this requires the use of a special "tilt/shift" lens that many photographers are unaware of. The buildings in their photos look like they are leaning over--a problem due to "Perspective Distortion". With our lens' and expertise, the walls of the building are straight and parallel.
