We offer comprehensive, office-based, and on-site psychiatric and counseling services to our clients. Services are currently provided through our offices in Orland Park, IL and on-site at numerous skilled nursing and assisted living facilities in Illinois.

Benchmark Psychiatric Services, LTD. is focused exclusively on managing mental health care for residents of assisted living (AL), independent living (IL), and skilled nursing facilities (SNFs).
Benchmark offers a full continuum of services for seniors, their families, and caregivers. Currently providing service to over 25 skilled nursing and long-term care facilities in Illinois, our goal is to maximize resident functionality, independence, and quality of life. Documentation standards which assist LTC facilities in maintaining compliance with OBRA and other regulatory standards.
Your appointment just got easier. Our TeleMentalWealth platform allows some patients to have their appointment securely by web* or tablet and mobile apps. Genetic testing can be used to evaluate a patient's genetic code to look for the presence of subtle differences in certain genes that can influence the way a patient metabolizes medications.

One of the worst places I have encountered. The psychiatrist they paired me up with told me I need to get off my antidepressants and practically yelled at me. She refused to 1) up my meds and 2) offer a prescription for my current dosage. I was in tears during our zoom call. I eventually learned she had left the practice but I refuse to go here. I eventually went through my primary and I'm thriving.

This place is committing insurance fraud. They have been double-billing me. I only went to this place for med refills; for anti-depressants specifically. Over the past year I noticed they were charging me twice per visit; once for psychiatry (med refill) and once for therapy, for a total of 55minutes worth of services. First of all, I have never had an appointment last longer than 20minutes. Second, I see a therapist at a separate private practice. Benchmark is aware of this.

EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED with this place!!!! Been going here for years, paying cash mind you. Was pregnant had my son so obviously couldn’t take meds. Now I’m in need, desperately, I mean desperately!!! I can’t find anyone to take my insurance and they’re refusing me because they haven’t seen me in a little over a year. So they want to start me as new patient and Increase my payment 3x what I was paying!!! And you wonder why there’s a mental health issue in this world! Thanks benchmark, all the cash I had to dish out to you and meds to try to be okay... sorry I tried to stop to be ok

I just opened the mailbox and there is a letter for a family member with a return address from Benchmark Psychiatric Services. Is this family member having psychiatric issues? Are they dangerous? I am very concerned. The mail was misdelivered to the neighbors house and they are concerned as well. I know it is wrong to open the letter, but seeing where it is coming from maybe we should.

Today I went to a new provider and he asked me questions for two hours before recommending everything. I feel like he already knows and understands me better than Mary or Catherine ever did after years of going to Benchmark.
They have always been quick to offer new medications that cost upwards of $100 to refill.
They charged me for rescheduling an appointment within 24 hours but I have waited up to 45 minutes and no less than 10 minutes for my appointments. It was the first time I had to reschedule in almost 3 years of going there.
I realize their policy is to give 24 hour notice to reschedule
