Services
Planning a kitchen or bathroom remodeling can be daunting, but it doesn't need to be if you find trusted contractors - and that's precisely why Preferred Kitchen & Bath is proud to serve Orange County residents. Reliable kitchen contractors can help you identify the best designs or work with what you have in mind to create stunning, customized spaces.
In 1994, Julie Wu moved from Taiwan to Southern California where she worked for over two decades as a successful fashion designer. In 2004, Julie transitioned into kitchen and bath design - her true passion. It is in this highly creative field that Julie feels her extensive knowledge of design, keen sense of color, and practical arrangement of space is put to its fullest expression.
Home is where your family is: be it immediate, extended, or just that big group of friends that comes over once a month for game night. For most Orange County homeowners, home is in the kitchen. Preparing breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks each day adds up to time in front of the oven and over the countertops.
J.F.K. noted in his inaugural speech, "ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country." The questions of kitchen remodeling might look slightly less serious than those of politics, however it is an excellent room to begin with when questioning renovations. Research has shown that both bathroom and kitchen renovations are the best place to receive a return on your investment.
Adding a healthy return on your home investment and reaping the functional and aesthetic benefits of a brand new kitchen seems like a win-win, right? If you are an Orange County homeowner undecided about moving forward, consider this: When it comes to a remodel and renovation, virtually no other room (with perhaps the exception of your bathrooms) will yield as high a return.

We cannot say enough good things about Suzy and the entire crew at Preferred. From initial design through demolition and installation, they ran a very organized and expert project with firm schedules and specific crews for each part of the remodel.
Large crews were on-site every day and they regularly worked more than 8 hours each day so as to quickly complete the project. Everything was handled with perfection and all cabinets and materials are of the highest quality.
If you're considering a kitchen remodel and want highly skilled designers and contractors, talk to Suzy Sparks at Preferred!

When we decided to completely remodeled the kitchen and do some other work on a house we just bought, we were told by many to be ready for a lengthy, tedious, very stressful process which will eat up all of our free time.
Dear Lea and Jose,
Thank you so much for proving everything we were told wrong. You gave us the most beautiful, elegant and functional kitchen and you did it on schedule and on the budget. It became the center of all family gatherings and we just can't stop marveling at the awesome job done by the whole preferred kitchen and bath crew. I am very grateful to Lea for her amazing

After interviewing several companies, we chose Preferred Kitchen and Bath. We initially thought it would be cheaper if we had say a cabinet maker, then someone to rip out a non-bearing wall, rip out large tile floor and replace it with hardwood, etc. etc. Each job required a separate contractor. And what a hassle. Julie at Preferred Kitchen said she would handle it all and boy, did she. Our kitchen is so beautiful and turned out even better than I imagined. I wanted white shaker cabinets, stainless appliances, and a contrast dark quartz top. She suggested that my center island would look nice in
