Embodiment MedSpa is unique to the medical spa industry in that it's co-owned by a board certified plastic surgeon and cosmetic nurse practitioner with over 30 years of experience in the aesthetic industry. Our weight loss counselor, L'Orien Parr, knows that a patient's experience and comfort level with their medical professional are key to building confidence and trust in their decision and happiness with the overall outcome. She has over 12 years experience in the industry. Likewise, having a great weight loss management counselor is just as import.
Unique to Embodiment MedSpa is that we have a board certified plastic surgeon on site. Med Spas are gaining in popularity and must have a medical director in place but that does not mean that the physician has to specialize in plastic surgery or that the doctor directly works out of the office.
Many physicians boast the they are board certified cosmetic surgeons but please realize that there is no cosmetic surgery board recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties.Dr. Mendoza is our medical director and a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon with an M.D. from Hahnemann University in Philadelphia.
