Jason and Madison were both so kind and patient. Their team truly made this sudden, overwhelming event somehow more manageable for our family. Their constant communication and support allowed us to plan a service that was so special (officiant, flowers, music, photos, etc.) and definitely more than we were capable of putting together on our own in such a time.

My brother, sister and I used the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home. We only wanted the best and “Best” was in their name and highly recommended.
Jason and his staff were friendly, compassionate, kind, and professional from start to finish. They handled everything with the sensitivity and ease needed in the difficult area of death. Jason and his staff did an amazing job listening to us and guiding us during our time of grief in losing our mother. We never felt “pushed” in the direction of the most expensive things. Jason was so compassionate and empathetic to our needs and wishes for how we saw the services and used his expertise to help us fulfill that.

Words can not express the gratitude for the caring, thoughtfulness and professionalism shown by Madison and Jason. Making the most difficult call one has to make and having a caring and compassionate person answer our questions and concerns was beyond comforting and reassuring. From 2014 when Jason met with my mother and I to preplan her funeral he arrived with such compassion and helped direct us to make the best decisions. When she just passed he had to pick her up in NJ, prepare her in Pa. have a service in NJ and transport her to Maryland for her other service and internment. Throughout the entire process he handled everything so flawlessly and allowed us to grieve without added stress. He is the most professional funeral director and he and his staff should be everyone's choice when preparing for end of life events.

The most professional and accommodating people in the industry I have ever met. Jason and his staff go beyond expectations when it comes to the honoring the clients wishes during grieving times. They have a large spacious beautiful facility right in the borough with a crematory on premises. 5 stars for customer service above all.
