Services
Through our certified assessment program, each resident will be evaluated by our registered nurse for their individual needs and requirements so that we can provide the utmost level of care. Once the individual's needs are determined along with family and the resident's physician, we can and will provide an array of programs for our residents.
Memory care is designed for seniors with Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia. As Alzheimer's disease or dementia progresses, the level of care and assistance a person requires increases. Many families will try and care for their loved ones at home but at some point a person with dementia will need more care than you can possibly provide.
If you're in search of a short-term retreat, our community offers respite care in comfortable, fully furnished apartments for individuals recovering from surgery, an illness or other health issues. Services include coordination of quality care such as meals, assistance with bathing, dressing and medications, 24-hour staff, transportation coordination and an emergency response team.
You can recapture the essence of those calmer days, that slower paced life you remember, and share them with your kids. The rolling hills of Gordon County are steeped in history. Walk in the footsteps of the Cherokee Nation; see where one of the bloodiest battles in the Civil War was fought; close your eyes and listen to native Roland Hayes, the late world-renowned African-American tenor.

My dad has lived here since it opened and loves it. The staff are friendly and and care about the residents. They have a lot to do there and it's always clean. The owners are great and always on site. Owners that actually care is a big plus. We looked at 8 different places before choosing The Fountains and I am glad we did.

My Mom has been at The Fountains of Cartersville for almost a month and absolutely loves it there! It is a wonderful new facility that was built with much love, care, and attention to details for loved ones who need assistance. They even have a prayer room that can be utilized by both residents, family members, and staff. Because it’s privately owned, The Fountains is able to offer an all inclusive monthly rate for those needing assisted living, a welcome change from levels of care charged by corporately owned facilities, as well as some privately owned ones. I've had the opportunity to work there as an independent contractor off and on and I can tell you that the staff and management team are amazing. Their vision exemplifies excellence in every way! These guys are doing what they do for all the right reasons and it shows. The care staff is the best of the best and every one of them truly love the residents! Not to mention they have a chef that prepares 5 star meals every day!! There is no place that I would have my grandparents other than this place right here!! It is truly a 5 star all inclusive resort for seniors!!

I have been blessed to work alongside the owners of the fountains for a few years now. Sharon, Kay, Craig, and Chris care deeply for their residents and employees. Sharon provides top notch care for her residents as well as training for her staff. The residents have full access to walking trails right next door so they are able to maintain an active lifestyle. Our Activity Director Jamie is the sweetest and works so well with the residents. She keeps them engaged and moving which is so important. Whitney our chef provides amazing dishes for all meals of the day. Overall this is the best facility
