Beautiful and quaint hotel, stuffed right in the center of Old Town Calabasas. The Anza has plenty of fun things to do around it, as well as some delicious food. I'd suggest the Sagebrush for some delicious Mexican food, right around the corner. There's a lot of wonderful hiking in the area, too..so get to it!

Stayed for our anniversary weekend with family and it is amazing! Henry is very helpful and accommodating. Got tired traveling 4hrs from Vegas and inquired if we can possibly check in earlier than check in time and he accommodated us. The hotel location is very convenient and near Malibu Beach. Very peaceful and relaxing except next time we will request for a room not next to the freeway. Oh, did I mention it’s pet friendly too? Our fur baby is sooo happy and relaxed too. Thank you! We will definitely come back! 😊

Anza surprises you with a $15 daily on parking even though it doesn’t say on the website and yet they still claim no responsibility if somebody breaks into your car (no cameras in parking lot). They also don’t do daily cleaning so you have to call for cleaning service. I had to leave my room by 11am and they still won’t clean it until 2:30pm. The area is nice, rooms are nothing special and yes the place was quiet.

The room carpet is so dirty and you feet is turning black after few steps.
It was big spider in my towel.
The heater color is not working appropriately
The bath room air conditioner is not exhausting well
In the hotel info it is saying they have breakfast with 8$ per person but it is not the correct info
The big problem is about the cleaness of the carpet

The Anza is your grandmas hotel dressed in modern clothing. Poor value. While well-located (which is why we give 2 stars instead of 1) the design of the hotel is downright ridiculous—half a mile to the room and another 10 minutes waiting for the one elevator that serves the whole hotel. Somehow they even made the stairs more inconvenient! The hotel is right next to the 101 highway and the room facing the traffic was flooded with noise, making it challenging to get any good sleep. The room has a tacky modern design that happened when they renovated this former Holiday Inn with a cheap budget.

We had a great stay! Warm welcome from the front desk staff upon our arrival. The hotel itself is very clean and located in a great walkable part of town. Our room was spacious, clean, and the bed was super comfortable. I’m typically very picky about my accommodations; even then, I have no complaints. We will definitely be back!
