Cardinal Disposal Inc. is a family owned business that started in 1958 by my parents, Paul and Betty Madrid under the name of Paul Madrid Trash Service. I grew up riding on the truck helping my dad and his employees to one day driving the trucks and eventually taking over the business in 2003 and named it Cardinal Disposal Inc.
We are still keeping the family tradition of making our customers our #1 priority. We are committed to providing our customers with the best service and pricing. Residents will be provided an 18-gallon recycling bin or 64-gallon can at no additional cost. Acceptable Recyclables Only: Plastics 1 and 2, cardboard (flat), newspapers, aluminum and steel cans.

We live in a cul de sac and this company has been great from the cul de sac hustle to customer service. They are nice to the kids and wave. I'm probably the worst customer when it comes to paying bills, but they've always been nice about it. The nice lady that answers the phone is always sweet and pleasant. They will pick up almost anything if you put it by the curb with the can.

When I called, I was informed that I was outside of their service area. However, the person who answered the phone was very warm and friendly and made two recommendations for service providers in my area which, upon double checking them, were to excellent providers. If I lived in that area, I would certainly be confident in my business with them, and I am grateful for the assistance that was freely provided.

Had Charlie & Son before they sold my service to American Disposal. American was nothing short of awful. Have been using Cardinal for almost 3 months now and love them already. The employees are courteous, prompt and awesome. I’m so glad I made the switch!

We've been their customer for a year -- and couldn't be happier. They always pick up twice a week, and they are always clean and curteous. Couldn't be happier with their level of service -- only wish it were easier to auto-pay their invoices!
For a short period of time, we had 'American'... and they would pick up *very* infrequently, if at all. This company is doing a much better job -- happy to have them here, and it's work your consideration.

I love Cardinal Disposal! Have used them for over 10 years.
PROS:
-They practically take EVERYTHING you put out, even large/heavy items. We have put out queen sized mattresses, old toilets, furniture, etc. and never have they refused anything.
-They are clean, return your trash can/recycle bin to where you left it, they are mindful of the neighborhood and the drivers do not speed or make loud noises during pickup (outside of their control.)
-They are the most reasonably priced--they just recently (as of 2019) raised their prices to $51 every 3 months (billed quarterly) for residential service

Edited to 5 stars because they do now offer online payment and the guys who work the trucks are still awesome!
3.5 stars because they generally take everything we put out. They'd get 5, but their refusal to offer online payment options has now caused our service to be disrupted. We put a check on the trash can some time ago (as we've done for years with no issue), yet somehow it didn't make its way to the company. We had no idea until an urgent late bill came. They didn't take the trash this morning which means the payment is in the mail somewhere. We pay for service twice a week, though we rarely
