Love this bakery. It's been a while since I've organically stumbled upon a good spot. I was actually in Claremont heading to another bakery when I saw a line outside of Creme at 730am! But it's worth it. The place is small so they only let two patrons in at a time. But the line goes faster than you think. The croissants are so flakey and buttery I ordered all the different varieties. Their savory sandwiches are amazing too!
There's so much variety I couldn't try everything so I'll have to pay them another visit. Tons of parking in the front

This place is very good ! Loved the cinnamon pastry only made on Saturday's the best . Apple pastry was delicious, but the apricot pastry did not do it for me , it needed more filling . Vegan blueberry muffin was awful , no sweetness to it at all . These pastry's are very flakey different from what I am used to , but pretty darn good . I would go back but not wait in a long line ... oh I have had the fruit tart and that is delicious

Easily one of the best pastry stories that I've tried! Very delicately made and tastes delicious!
Food: 5/5
Such an amazing selection of pastries! I've been stopping by the area just to try a few pastries every week and I'm never disappointed by what I try.
The croissants and danishes are soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. The lemon tart had a perfect balance of sweet and sour. The cookie had a nice nutty sweetness.
Great textures and amazing flavors. There's a line out the door every time I stop by, just to attest for how delicious everything is. A bit pricey

We are very disappointed that they are no longer open on Sunday. Créme Bakery was one of the major reasons we visited the Sunday Farmers Market.
Nothing better than having a fresh pastry and coffee, and also 2 Ham and Butter sandwiches to go, while shopping for produce.
Please reopen on Sunday, and be closed on Monday and Tuesday.
Everything is delicious!

A little bakery in Claremont, but WOW. WHAT A SELECTION. They had sweets, breads, sandwiches.. I was so overwhelmed with what I wanted to get.
Every time I went to the post office, I always noticed a line out the door. For some reason this day that I went, there was no one. So I decided to pop in and see what's going on.
I was impressed. I chose to get a vegetarian sandwich and an apple danish. It was so good!!! Loved how cute this bakery was and how kind everyone was !

Every single bread, every single pastry is delicious. There is almost always a line but it is so worth the wait when it's your turn to step inside and marvel at the flaky bakey items. And if you come in for a simple croissant don't forget to buy a simple baguette to tear open at your next meal. Crème is the best addition to Claremont's Village.

I was torn between 3 and 4 stars but leaned toward the 4 because while I was in the shop the owner was so kind to me. Here's my take on things:
The Good:
It's a cute place with a nice display of items and good prices.
I got a ganache cake and chocolate tarts. I was also surprised with a brownie and 2 more tarts on the house for my chocolate loving husband's birthday!! That was So Sweet... Literally!! Haha!
The Bad:
It took 6 days for them to answer my email about a birthday cake order. I called several times but no one answered. By then I already ordered another cake. I decided

Crème Bakery is a wonderful place full of character and very very very good pastries and French baguettes sandwiches. I love this place. I have many favorites. The almond croissants are to die for and the banana tart. You got to try the Fontina baguette sandwich because is a nutritious, practical and delicious French lunch. It costs $13, definitely worth it. I almost forgot, the place in it delft is beautiful and charming.

So deliciously consistent and such a pleasant experience every time I’ve been here! No matter sweet or savory pastry/baked good, it’s always buttery and flaky, and melty in your mouth-y. I have trouble not eating all the pastries I buy before going back home when I say I’m bringing them back for my family. Lovely little spot in the lovely Claremont Village. You won’t want to miss this spot if you’re in town or visiting! And if you’re local/within driving distance, you might find yourself like me and looking for reasons to pick up pastries from here just because

Somehow came across this bakery after reading reviews on Yelp, and when I saw that they had almond croissants and chantilly cake - I already knew I'd be making a stop. Unfortunately when I stopped by, they were all out of their small chantilly cakes and almond croissants (so sad); however, I couldn't leave without picking up some other goodies that looked super mouthwatering.
Not only do they sell pastries, baked goods, cakes, and tarts, but they also make bread and sandwiches. Even though the items I picked up weren't the ones I originally wanted to order, I found myself really

The entry archway is decorated with a wreath of real flowers constructed by a real florist. That in itself signifies attention to the finer details, not cutting corners with quality ingredients, and which culminates in refined taste and well-executed products.
Try either their chocolate tart or the fresh fruit tart which sit invitingly in a modest glass counter and you'll immediately taste what I mean. The tart crumb done with high-quality butter, and balanced by fillings: fresh, perky, sharp fruit or deep, creamy chocolate. These are not ordinary bakery fare. They demonstrate the touch

Long story short - get in line early because these pastries are exquisite!!
My sister bought our mother's birthday cake a few weeks back (Chocolate Ganache Cake) and I was blown away by the light texture of the chocolate cream without missing the rich chocolate flavor itself. It felt like eating a cloud.
I went to buy some breakfast pastries and you need to get their right as they open because there will be a line!
- **Apricot Danish: mom's favorite
- **Croissant: a classic you can't go wrong with
- **Almond Croissant : crispy on the outside, moist and sweet on the inside

I was parked on Harvard Ave. in Claremont this morning waiting to meet a friend to carpool to Claremont Wilderness Park for a morning hike. I saw a looong line forming for something and mapped it to see what they were lining up for. Turns out it's a bakery called Creme. My friend and I decided that we would stop in after we returned from our hike for lunch and baked goods.

They must have hired a feng shui specialist/psychologist/expert on human subconscious or something, because upon entering, I was overcome with this feeling of happiness. Maybe it was the high ceilings, or color scheme, or the abundance of light, or the bakery items displayed like pieces of art. Whatever it was, I LIKED it. A lot.
I saw Creme on IG (specifically, a beautiful pic of blueberry muffins) and then went down the rabbit hole of looking at almost every picture. I realized that they're in the same neighborhood I'm in all the time, and then it clicked: I'd seen a line outside

Creme bakery is located in Claremont and is filled with assorted mouth-watering treats. These are the bakery I dream of. My cousin and I made our way over after my sister was cravings for something sweet. We were able to find 2-hour street parking and joined the line forming about half a block from the bakery.
We arrived around 11 am on a Saturday and it was about a 15-20 minute wait. The bakery allows about 2-3 people in at a time which is a great system to keep up with the covid distancing.
Once inside my eyes lit up. There so many things I love all in one place. There are scones, cinnamon

So here is the thing. I have to be blatantly honest. This bakery has a case full of what "appear" to be beautifully baked goods, in a cute shop, in charming downtown Claremont. So what's the problem? Looks are very deceiving. The pastries were so beautiful we couldn't wait to get home and brew a cup of coffee and try each one. To our massive disappointment, none were good. We mean, none. At best, the almond croissant gets 3 of 5. I am still baffled at how pretty the baked goods compared to tasting so bland. A total of 5 adult and teen tasters, who couldn't approve of even one pastry.
