What a hidden little gem. I heard good things about this place but never thought to eat there. I have been missing out and now I'm deciding what I want to try next when I go back there. Service was great, the lady was very friendly and informative about the different selection of meats. My friend got the liverwurst sandwich and I got the schinkenwurst sandwich ! The bread was the perfect ratio and softness, just good simple ingredients of lettuce, tomato, pickles, cheese mustard and mayonnaise and thinly sliced schinkenwurst! It was divine not to salty just perfect. My friends liverwurst was

Customer service is one of the most important things in business, and Joana has definitely got that part down. Food was made to order, freshly cut veggies and meats. Imported and unique in their own ways. Many options for deli meat sandwiches. Got the 2 meat sandwich, roast beef and turkey on a roll. I saw the roast beef being laid onto the bread.... OMG wanted to eat the roast beef just by it self it looked so good. Spent quite a bit of time inside the store while waiting for my food to be made, talking with the Owner Joana. Amazing and nice/courteous person, very knowledgeable in her craft/industry

WHAT A CUTE AND LOVELY DELI & RESTAURANT!!
It's a small shop in a small plaza (I thought the parking was tiny, but it's only because there's this weird divider between the lots, but keep this in mind because it might get kinda tight). There's seating inside for dine in or you can order to go!
There is a deli counter where you can get freshly cut cheeses and meats, a freezer/fridge area with frozen breads for later, drinks, etc, and a shop area with imported European goods (sauces, soups, chocolates, candies, snacks, etc). The decorations are simple, whimsical, and very

I don't get it. After staying home for the last 18 months due to COVID, I am bored with lunch choices these days. So I thought I would give European Deli and Bakery a try once again. A kielbasa or bratwurst sandwich sounded so good. The last time we came here was in 1999. It was under different ownership. Back then when we walked in, there wasn't anyone to welcome us and the deli cases were empty. Totally un-impressed.
Now, over 22 years later, with different owners, I walked in on a Wednesday afternoon. Except to two older gentlemen sitting at a table, the first thing I saw was empty

I had a wonderful experience at the European deli today. There is such an awesome variety of foods, both interesting new items I've never tried and old classics. I will definitely be making this deli a regular stop for sandwiches, soups, sausage, and other fun deli items. I met the owner on my first visit and she was suuuper helpful and enthusiastic about showing me around the store. Cant wait to go back!

This is a great place for sandwiches to order, Polish and German sausage and cold cuts of every kind, as well as rye bread and challah brought in from a Russian bakery and various strudels and pastries. They carry Polish style sauerkraut and potato salad. Also imported condiments, pickles, preserves, candy etc. In my experience, the service is excellent. Here's the menu:

I received my order of perishable items Harzer Cheese, Black Forrest Ham and other non-perishable items (in glass jars) today.
All items were packed super cooled and protected, European Deli couldn't have done a better job!!! The Harzer Cheese (low fat cheese known in the Frankfurt/Germany area as "Hand Kaese") has the perfect state of ripeness!!! This is the first time I ordered german items from European Deli, but not my last time! I also want to mention that the owner even communicated with me personally to make sure everything would go well with my order!
A little pricey but well worth it

Stopped in today for some sausages and also got some of their German Potato Salad. It was an authentic German Potato Salad, something that's hard to come by.
Owner makes it herself and it's the best German Potato Salad I've had in many years.
Dinner was one of their Bratwursts, Saurkraut (from the same shop) and the potato salad.
If you've been looking for authentic German Potato Salad, this is where you should go to get it.

I came here for the first time and it was fantastic! We got bratwurst and it was delicious. I'm not normally a fan of it, but this changed my mind. The lady working was so nice and she told us all about Poland and even told us when we get ready to visit talk to her.
I'd honestly come back just because the service was SO GREAT.

So I have driven by this place countless times. Yesterday I decided to give a shot. I walked in and the owner ( forgive is say the wrong name or misspell is) Johanna greeted me and was incredibly patient and friendly with me. I mean it was my first time there and not familiar with the menu. After a few minutes I decided on the German ham and Salami sandwich. Omg that sandwich was so good. It was so simple. Just German Ham Salami mayo mustard pickles lettuce and tomatoes on a French roll, yet It was so tasty. She made it of course to order and sliced the meats her self. You can tell she takes a

I've been going here on and off for several years. Growing up in Glendora, I did not know this place was here, which is a bummer. Must have passed by this lot a thousand times. The food is amazing. I usually come here for soups and some German/Polish candies, pastries, marzipan, pickles and condiments (curry ketchup and sauerkraut mostly).
I picked up a food order for my department today and everything she made tasted great. This is definitely a place that becomes your "usual" for at least one day a week if you're in this neighborhood, though I know people that come here from

Very homey and simple place but delicious. Had a turkey and salami sandwich on toasted rye. It was delicious! The salami was very flavorful and the cheese and turkey were good quality. I paired it with a slice of cheesecake- also good, really rich though and a small bite went a long way. I could tell the place is family owned and they're very friendly.
In addition to selling sandwiches and deli meats , they also carry a nice variety of candies, European condiments and coffees. Nice place, I recommend it.

European Deli -- I'm all over it. This was a no-brainer to try, just a few short blocks off the 210 off Grand. It's Polish mainly, and German second.
Positives:
========
1. Combo Sandwich [$8.99, 4.0 stars]: any 2 meats, so I chose Turkey & Ham. While it didn't at all appear so appealing and meaty as other Yelpers have pictured, it was very tasty and I would order it again.
2. Pierogis [$10.99, 4.0 stars, 12 pcs]: made from frozen but cooked to perfection with sprinkled fresh bacon pieces atop.
3. Candy: totally inexpensive European chocolates. Packages, of course,
