A Postpartum doula provides guidance to new parents on important subjects like infant feeding, emotional and physical recovery from birth, mother & baby bonding, infant soothing, and basic newborn care. The primary purpose of the Postpartum Doula is to help the mother and the entire family transition into life with a newborn.

Beth is dedicated, hard working, punctual, and truly has a gift for birth photography and story telling. She arrived very quickly after calling her to my birth, and she met us out on the sidewalk as we walked into the hospital in labor! I didn’t want more people than necessary in the room with me, but Beth never felt like another pair of eyes. She made herself blend into the background but somehow managed to get all kinds of angles of the labor and birth. I felt totally comfortable on the other side of Beth’s camera, which is saying a lot. I can't sing Beth's praises enough. Her portfolio speaks for itself, so I'll tell you about the experience instead: Beth is the absolute sweetest and most loving soul you'd ever want to spend time capturing your family's memories. She's a fly on the wall when she needs to be (i.e. during a birth), but also knows what to say to make you comfortable when you're not sure what you should be doing (let's be honest- getting pictures taken can feel awkward..but not with Beth!).

I can't say enough good things about Beth and her photography skills! She is absolutely amazing. She photographed my family right after we had our third baby, so naturally it was a little crazy and not very quiet in my house when she came. However, she was so calming and reassuring, my kids loved her, the baby loved her and she made family pictures not stressful....who does that?! She captured our family just perfectly and for that, I am forever grateful!

Beth is an amazing photographer!! She arrived to our birth almost immediately after we called. The birth was so quick we didn't get a chance to call her until right after baby was born, but you would never know it from the beautiful photos she captured. The shots were natural, truely capturing such a precious time. She had such a sweet, quiet, calm presence. She is just perfect as a birth and fresh 48 photographer!
